you're met with an unsettling feeling

"binnie , it's okay!" kai giggles lightly as he pulls away from the boy's lips that were at his ear , whispering for him to take his sweater because he's visibly shaking in the cold evening air.

"kai , we have another twenty minutes until the fireworks , and god knows how long the rest will want to sit out here. so please just take my sweater and put it on" soobin says , pouting lightly in an attempt to try and get the boy to listen to him and take his advice before he catches a cold.

"you're acting as if we can't just get up and leave" kai rolls his eyes with a small smile , soobin licking his lips and furrowing his eyebrows.

"no , i just know that you won't be able to get up and leave. i could , but you're the people-pleaser here love" soobin speaks , placing his finger at the said one's chest each time he uses you and i.

kai pouts lightly as he gazes out over the rooftops , cheeks flushing a rosy pink from the cold , paired together with the actions of his significant other. he glances to soobin who's eyes had enevr left the younger boy , making his stomach flip and cheeks turn a darker shade , almost red.

"if you don't want me to take my sweater off , at least let me warm you up" soobin speaks softly and gently to the boy who's heart is going a thousand miles per second , something that only ever happens around his soobin.

kai purses his lips shyly , nodding his head a few times as to signal his approval , and soobin wastes no time in taking his hands in his.  kai is taken aback when the taller boy puts his hands through the sleeves of his sweater , warming him up with both his hands and the soft material.

"your hands are so cold ningning... you must be freezing" soobin whispers as kai's cheeks flush deeply , their fingers intertwining against soobin's warm skin , under the soft material of his pastel blue sweater.

"i-i... i'm not soob. i'm okay" kai swallows his heart bac down which had been beating so nosily in his throat , he's sure that soobin could hear it clearer than his own heartbeat.

"well now your hands are... but are you sure you're no cold? i could go back to get you a hoodie or-" soobin says before getting cut off when kai climbs underneath the sweater , head popping up to face him once he had gotten through the hole for a head.

luckily , this hoodie had been worn so much by soobin , that it has gotten stretched out... so there was plenty of room for the two. not to mention that it was oversized for soobin anyway.

soobin's lips curve up into a small smile as he helps the younger get comfortable on his laps , fixing his soft hair and slinging his arms around his petite waist. the way their hearts beat as one has both of them smile even more , the feeling of being so close to their perfect soulmate filling both of them up with a sense of completeness.
