Gregory's POV: It's been a week since we moved into the new city. Since I moved into a new city I have to start going school shopping for the new school year. School is starting 3 weeks from now. So we want to start shopping now before it becomes crazy in the stores. I need new shoes, new uniform, new backpacks, and school supplies. Well I could just use my old school stuff but Vanessa is saying "I want to give you new stuff so you don't have to keep using the same ones you were using previously." I get she's trying to be nice but I say we should just be saving money and stuff for now. But it's not like I have a choice or a say in this situation.
V: GREGORY! c'mon let's get going already. We need to stop and get food and gas before we go to the mall.
G: Alright then.
*In the car*
Vanessa's POV: *Sigh...* I hope I have enough money to buy him new stuff for school. Is this really what it's like to be a single mother? I mean I'm not his mother but sometimes it really does feel like I am his mother. I mean I did take full guardianship over him but I rather not be called his "Mother." Anyways I think he'll be fine with just new uniforms and new shoes. Freddy said he'll be able to get him new school supplies tomorrow. So I should be getting it in the mail very soon. Hmm...wonder what I should get him to eat. I'll just ask him.
V: Hey Gregory! You awake back there?
G: Now I am...And what...
V: Are you hungry and if so what do you wanna eat?
G: I'm not in the mood to eat. I think I'll pass but thank you anyways.
Vanessa's POV: He's been skipping more and more meals lately. I hope he's just not starting to starve himself or if he's really not hungry. But he seems like he's always skipping out on meals. I hope everything is alright.
Gregory's POV: I'm not really that hungry. But at the same time I kind of wanna eat. But I could always just eat at home and not just eat out. We should just focus on the school shopping and get this over with already. It's already annoying enough that I have to stay in this car.
*At the mall*
V: Hey Gregory! I need you to try on this uniform for me. I need to see if it fits you well or if we need to get a size bigger or smaller.
G: Okay then. May I see the uniform and also where are the changing rooms in this place anyways?
V: On yeah here's the uniform pants and shirt. And the changing rooms are up over here so follow me.
G: Okay.
*In the changing rooms*
G: Okay you can wait right outside right here. I won't be to long okay?
V: Okay I'll wait out here but tell me if you need any help.
G: Alright then.
*After Gregory put on the uniform it fitted him just fine. So they went back to the uniform section to get more in different colors.*
*At the checkout counter.*
V: Here's my card.
Cashier: Okay just put in your pin and you'll be all set!
V: Okay thank you!
Cashier: Okay your all good to go! You guys have a good day!
V and G: You as well ma'am!
*After going to a few more stores they went back home to put their stuff away. And Vanessa got started on dinner.*
Gregory's POV: MY LEGS HURT....WE BEEN OUT ALL DAY!!!
