A new start! C.C/Evan X Gregory

I wanna be your friend! Chapter 9

Gregory's POV: I started walking into class to see that there's a lot of kids in here. "Oh boy..." I said whispering to myself anxiously. I started to look around to see if anyone was free to sit next to or just an empty spot, But nothing. Everyone seems to have friends here except for me and Evan. Well... I guess this is a sign! Let's hope this is not super awkward... "Okay everyone! Please find a table to sit at!" Oh shoot! Too late to back down now. I gotta find a place to sit down. What I mean by that I mean I'ma just go sit next to Evan. "Hello Evan! It's me Gregory again! Everyone here seems to have some sort of friend group. I'm new here so I don't have any friends. I was hoping you would be my friend?" I said hoping that he'll accept my friendship invitation. "...No..." He said avoiding eye contact. "Really?!" I said sort of loud. "Mhm..." He said while nodding his head awkwardly. "Awesome thanks Evan!" I said happily sitting down next to him. "I said no idiot..." He said still looking down at his desk fidgeting his fingers. "I know" I said happily. "Then why are you so happy..? He said. "Cause I still might have a chance later on! You ain't getting rid of me so easily Afton." I said in a certain way. "...Do as you please, But I won't being calling you my friend." He said just grabbing a pencil from his bag. He talks so quietly. Is it cause he's mad or is it cause he just does? But why? This kid is cute and interesting...I can deal with that! "Alright class! Quiet down please! My name is Mrs. Dandelion! I hope that can stick to you guys!" She said all cheerful. "Now let's get started! So here's something  I came up with to get to know each other....*Blah,Blah,Blah* As the teacher kept talking I heard a little bang on Evan's desk. I looked over to see what it was and it was Evan. I think he fell asleep or something. Probably got bored of hearing the teacher talk already. I don't blame him, It's always so annoying hearing teachers talk even if they do have a "Fun" activity to play. I tap Evan's shoulder saying "Evan! Psst! Wake up!" But nothing. "Evan if you don't wake up then I'll...Uhm.." I don't having anything to say. "I'll tell the whole school about your crush!" I said thinking that he doesn't have a crush. He got up right away after saying that with a little red face. Hm. Does he have a crush? I wonder who...I got so caught up in my own thoughts that I didn't even notice that the teacher was yelling out my name. "Gregory Star!" O-Oh! UH- HERE!" I said panicking! Some kids stared at me while the other kids laughed at me including the teacher. "Thank you Gregory." She said still laughing a bit. God that was so embarrassing!

The first period has finally come to an end and so is sitting next to Evan as well. "Well I'll see you at lunch! Bye Evan!" I said waving and running to my 2nd period. It was easy to find my period cause it was gym. And the gym is right in front of the Front office. I hope I can make Evan think I'm a good friend soon...I said thinking to myself as I was walking into the gym. "Alright class! Put your stuff on the bleachers and then come right back down." The teacher said. I guess Gym begins...
