You don't have the money to buy the most extravagant or fancy things. You know it doesn't matter to Lando, but you can't help but wonder if it bothers him. After all, you're in a whole new relationship and don't know what to give him for his birthday.

You've been preparing this little present for several weeks. It's not much, but you did it with love.

Lando brought you to Vegas with him. He wants to have you with him for his birthday week, and you can only be happy to come and see him race.

You are lying in your hotel room. You and Lando are looking at some Tik Tok on your phone. You've just returned from an ultra-sophisticated dinner with his parents and some friends. You haven't talked much all evening, but you were happy to be by his side. You felt nervous when you saw all the gifts he had received. All more extraordinary than the others.

So you didn't give yours.

Because, after all, you didn't want to embarrass him in front of everybody with your little gift.

"I wish I could do that," he mumbles in your ear while gently kissing the skin of your neck.

Your heart is racing. Gently lift yourself out of her arms to take your gift hidden in your bag. You turn to him before he can say anything.

"Happy Birthday Lando." You say, blushing increasingly as he takes the piece of clothing in his hands.

"Is that a sweater?" He questions, looking at your creation. "No? But. Really?. Folly!"

"Do you like it?" you timidly ask. He shakes his head and smiles. He gets up from the bed and puts on the hoodie you made him. "Honestly? You love it?"

"Yes! Thank you so much, my love." He takes you in his arms and makes you spin in the room. He puts you down and takes your face in his hands to kiss you tenderly. "It's the best thing I've received. Thank you so much, love."
