It's time for the turtles to be accepted by humans which we don't see a lot of unfortunately!

"Raph, slow down!" Donnie panted as he and Leo tried to keep up with Raph who ran across the rooftops. Mikey giggled and ran ahead of his older brother.

"Come on, slowpokes!" Raph joked playfully. It was Mikey's idea that the four of them race from one rooftop to the other. Mikey, being the ball of energy, finished first.

Raph came in second place, followed by Leo, followed by Donnie. "I'll never understand how you're always so fast, little brother." Leo smiled, rubbing Mikey's head.

Mikey smiled and hugged Leo. "A ninja never reveals his secrets, bro!" They all laughed before heading down to the ground so they could go on their usual patrol route.

Leo hummed softly, on the lookout for anything out of the ordinary. Mikey was beaming, happy that he and his bros had time to have fun tonight.

Usually, they didn't have time to relax and have fun during patrol, but Donnie came up with the idea of then leaving 10 minutes early for patrol.

Now though, the fun was over. They had to be serious and be on the lookout. Things had been pretty chill on patrol lately, but the terrapins weren't taking any chances.

Donnie suddenly saw something as his eyes widened. "Look at that!" He ran over to a box that was in an ally as it had a big flag in it. The flag was the bisexual flag. It was pink, purple, and blue.

"Sweet! Is there a gay one in there too?" Mikey peeked in the box. "No, sorry Mikey, just the one flag." Donnie was bisexual and proud. He folded up the flag as best as he could and somehow put it into his belt.

The boys continued on their route. It was quiet tonight, which was good. Suddenly, they heard voices, which was unusual. The turtles didn't eecognizs. Their eyes widened as they weren't used to people being in this area at night.

The turtles always took the same patrol route as usually there were no humans around. That's why they chose it. Raph made his brothers get behind him.

The voiced got closer and louder. Suddenly, Mikey couldn't take the tension any longer and ran out of the ally. "Mikey! What are you doing?!" Leo yelped.

"They're gonna see us dude, we gotta-" Mikey was cut off by a series of gasps. "....hide." Mikey finished his sentence.

The turtles went completely still out of shock as a small group of humans, six of them, stared back at them. They were all silent for a moment. Donnie then let out a whimper.

"Please don't scream!"

A dark-skinned teenage boy blinked in confusion. He had dark brown curly hair, dark bluish-grey eyes, glasses, and wss wearing red. "Huh? Why would we scream?" He asked.

The turtles blinked in confusion and looked at each other. "Aww, they're so cute!" An elderly woman wearing light purple with long grey hair in a ponytail and blue eyes commented. She had a scar over one of her eyes.

"We ain't cute!" Raph blushed in embarrassment, looking away. "Uh, I'm cute!" Mikey raised his hand. "Yes, you are!" The woman replied. The five others chimed in agreeably.

"Uh, we're confused, why aren't you all freaking out?" Donnie asked the humans. "Yeah, most people who see giant mutant turtles usually run away screaming!" Leo added quietly.
