Chapter 7 – Sleepwalking Kent strikes again!

________________________________________________________________________________

I woke up the next morning to someone yanking my arm from their sockets. I opened and eye to look at Katy, dragging me from my bed across the hallway. I could hear laughter coming ahead. I looked up to see Trey and Finn laughing as Jace shook his head at something. What the hell is going on?

I pulled my arm away from Katy and walked towards them, "What's wrong?" I asked Jace. The other two baboons were too busy laughing to see me coming over. Jace turned to me and I could see him trying hard not to laugh as well. "Will someone please tell me what's going on?" I huffed and stomped my foot like a three year old.

Trey covered my mouth and placed a finger on his lips. "Shh, watch this." I looked at him weirdly as he tilted my chin towards whatever they were laughing about. Now I know why. In front of us, in Lucas' bed, Kent was sleeping peacefully.

I could feel myself shaking from holding my laughter. Kent had his arm draped over Lucas' waist. Lucas was sleeping peacefully. Suddenly, Kent snuggled closer. Then Lucas turned and pulled Kent over his chest. What the fudge!

I couldn't hold it anymore; I laughed so hard my sides hurt. The next thing I know, I heard screaming and two loud thumps. I looked up and saw Lucas on the floor, shock written across his face as he turned to us. I glanced at Kent and he was shaking his head.

"Did you two have a good time last night?" Katy snickered at them. Kent stared at us weirdly but when he looked around and noticed he wasn't in his room he jumped fifty feet in the air and ran out of the room faster than you can say cheese.

Lucas was still sitting on the floor. "I didn't know you swing that way, Lucas." I said. Lucas snapped his attention towards me and he suddenly jumped. "What are you all doing here?" He asked wearily. I laughed, "Nothing." I snickered and walked away. Trey and Finn were laughing as they went back to their rooms. Jace was long gone and Kent, I bet he's in his room trying to figure out what the hell he was doing in Lucas' room.

Katy was beside me, giggling like a freaking two year old. I couldn't blame her. It was hilarious.

We walked back to our room and I grabbed my clothes for the day and headed straight for the shower. After taking a nice warm shower, I skipped downstairs towards the kitchen for some breakfast. When I got there I saw Jake. Oh how lovely. Note the sarcasm.

I was fully intent on ignoring him. I could feel his eyes boring at the back of my head. "Hi, my name is Jake. You're Lia, Beta of the Shadow Valley pack am I right?" He asked. I ignored him. I think that kind of pissed him off, Jake wasn't used to people ignoring him.

I grabbed my plate of bacon and eggs and made a move to walk around him but he held my arm, stopping me abruptly. "Did I do something wrong?" He asked. He must be freaking kidding me! He made my life a living hell six months ago. Oh wait, he doesn't recognize me. Should I be excited or sad about this?

I shrugged his hand off and walked away. Step one of my plans; ignore the people that used to hurt me, check. Step two, kick their butts during training. Oh this is going to be so good.

After eating my breakfast I grabbed Trey's hand and walked towards the backyard where the others were waiting for us to start training. "Okay, listen up people. My name is Lia and this is Trey," I pointed to Trey. "We're going to teach you all about defense and offense in both human and wolf form." As I finished a blonde bimbo raised her perfectly manicured hand and spoke in a high pitched voice, "Why train in human form? We are werewolves after all, can't we just shift?"
