Karate Joel Tanner or Joel is characterized by their pale white skin, big nose, balding head, red and white varsity jacket, treble clef necklace, and a tablet stylus placed on their ear. They were born with the memories of a karateka, Karate Joe. They're adventurous, easy-going, socially awkward, and indecisive. However, they get to be unpredictable when they're around their loved ones! Tends to act cool and chill on the outside, but their thoughts inside keep swarming them. They use humor to cope with their feelings or to lighten up the mood. It could be challenging for others to differentiate whether they are being serious or not. Joel is gentle and loyal to their friends, they will try to do their best for them.
Joel never know or try to seek why he speaks in musical jargons—nor he cared to. All it matters is that they are still understandable using their voice or writing by their folks. They discussed about his language usage to their father but he never gave a clear answer.
They live with their father who is a scientist, their mother lives in a different house due to her far workplace. Joel owns a black, orange, and white cat to keep them company while practicing karate and drawing. They don't like to eat much, they will eat when they want to. It is their behavior since they're a child—eating once or twice a day and their portion is very small. They're most likely to get angry and show it, as well as the most likely to get angry and not show it. Joel will eventually snap on them when someone pushes them over the edge. It's difficult to make them mad, but they're easy to be irritated.
Scott Tanner a.k.a Joel's dad or Senior
Scott Tanner is a scientist developing a formula to create humanoids by using its past memories to relive them. Scott is a middle-aged man with brown hair along with a grey streak and he a beard. His eyes are green, he has a X scar on his right cheek due to an accident. He often wears green flannel clothes with checkered pattern with a light beige jacket.
At work, he wears a long white jacket with a white collar shirt and pants with a belt underneath, he walks with sandals with a pair of gray socks with black lines. He also wears a pair of glasses with a green tint. Scott is hired for to his phenomenal studies of creating humanoids along with using the memories for those who has passed. A couple of experiments has been made, however, most of them aren't able to communicate normally. Scott has a specialty to defend his argument with solid evidence and available data he could get. He's difficult to be tricked unless it involves his family members. he would use manipulation whenever it's necessary.

Yuka a.k.a Tap Trial Girl
Yuka is an aspiring tap dancer in Rhythm Heaven. She is Joel's best friend since middle school and they're still in touch until college although they went to different campus. Joel only trust with their secret or vent to her, as her unwavering perception of them refrains from perceiving any negative qualities. She hangs out with her group of friends, sometimes she could be a rebel. Despite her defiant behavior, she's gentle and sweet towards her friends. Can be seen as a very emotional person throughout the story, especially when she was pressured or in a though situation.

Hank is a Cowboy Space Kicker whose personality is a unique blend of energetic, playfulness, and an air of indifference, occasionally accompanied by a hint of arrogance. He has a hobby of farming vegetables by stomping on the group as it falls on his basket he was carrying on his back. Woods is very informative and sometimes he gets to explain confusing situations.
