carina de leon is a mexican-american actress, born on january 8, 1995, in los angeles, california. she began her career in 2016 with a breakout role in netflix's stranger things as queen of hawkins high, samantha flores.
the show put her on the map, immediately opening doors for her to star in hbo's euphoria, annabelle comes home, and mainstream.
she's starred in stranger things for all four seasons and will return for the fifth, being a fan favorite. many people regard her character's ship with steve harrington (florington) to be the best ship on the show, and keep coming back to see what's in store for them.
fans can find her now exploring the fashion world, which is very akin to her character, sporting insane looks at the met gala and fashion week as well as a recent spread in vogue italia, and filming a biopic about rita moreno. stay tuned for a release date for euphoria season 3 and stranger things 5!

"which did you prefer filming? stranger things or euphoria?"
"um, i feel bad for how quickly i had an answer, but stranger things. i love euphoria and the cast so so much, but stranger things is home. they're family, in every sense of the word. it's like a comfort place, you know?"
"would you say you're very similar to sam?"
"i would say yes, actually. i think she's a very confident girl but also extremely caring. she has her shortcomings, she's always evolving and i think i resonated with that when i first read the script, and to this day i think i've grown with her."
"is carina de leon a mother?"
"i've been told i am mother, which i just learned is a compliment, so mwah, but no i am not with child. don't manifest that yet."
"i have accidentally broken so many props, it's actually concerning. they're threatening the next will come out of my check, so pray for me."
