Chapter 13.Starting the Paid Service Again(1)

[The free service of planetary system 8612 has been terminated.]

[The main scenario has started.]

Just what is happening?

It felt like a robotic voice was speaking directly into my brain.Is this a prank?

By the panicked look on Chaeri's face,it didn't seem like she knew anything either.Not that any of her friends or her were even capable of something like this.

I stumbled back up to my feet.

The pain wasn't that bad.

My eyes widened once I had taken a better look at the odd creature in front of my eyes.

With two small horns and wearing a small straw mat,the strange and fluffy creature was floating in the air.

Not only on the roof of the school,but there was a faint outline of one in the school field where the track team were practicing .

Was this augmented reality?Is this VR?

"D-Dokkaebi.."

I was still trying to process what was happening.

There was screaming in the background and faint outlines of smoke coming from the section of the school where all the science labs were.Everybody else must be going through the same thing.

「&아#@!&아#@! ...」

The Dokkaebi opened its mouth but all I heard was gibberish.

Chaerin was shouting anxiously and trying to break down the entrance door that she had locked prior while desperately trying to call someone on her cell phone.

All phone lines were down,I couldn't call anybody either.I wanted to run but oddly my legs didn't move at all.

I gave up and started staring up at the white furry  identical creatures across the school campus.They all looked the same but were reacting differently based on the reaction of the respective crowd.

Then it talked.

With fluent Korean pronunciation.

[Ah. Ah. Does this sound good? Ah, I had a hard time because the Korean patch didn't work. Everyone, can you hear my words?]

A familiar language was heard coming out from its mouth,I felt a bit less scared.

Chaerin was still preoccupied but she still turned her head once she heard it speak.

"W-What is happening?!"

But the dokkaebi didn't answer her,instead it looked at its doppelgänger in the field.

The baseball players and track team were screaming something.The coach started approaching their respective dokkaebi with a baseball bat,obviously with intent to hit.

Red.

Next thing I knew I was seeing red.

The coach's head was exploded in less time than it took for me to blink.Blood and brain matter lied on the gravel ground as the headless body fell forward.

This is wrong.

I felt every cell in my body telling me to scream and run away.

The dokkaebi grinned at the sight,like it was laughing because it was funny.

[Now, now. All of you, relax and listen to me. From now on, I will tell you something very important!]

The dokkaebi on the roof grinned before continuing on.
