Chapter 12

Y/N: Damn...

I mumbled as I looked down on the battle taking place beneath us.

Stormfront: Told you they don't have a chance.

Omni-Man was covered in blood, not sure whose blood it was, probably his own mixed with the blood of his enemies.

Y/N: Wait, look at the bodies on the ground. They're not from the Seven.

Stormfront: Yeah, they're Supe Hunters, looks like they became friends once they realized Omni-Man is a bigger threat than the Seven.

Y/N: Looking at all the bodies, he is.

Stormfront: We should let him take care of all the Supe Hunters, that'll make our lives a lot easier.

Y/N: How many Supe Hunters are there anyway?

Stormfront: I don't know, a few hundred, maybe even a thousand.

Y/N: Do you know where they are being created?

Stormfront: I don't think they're from here. There has been a lot of V smuggling since Homelander fucked up and released it to the public.

Y/N: Smuggling as in get them over the border?

Stormfront: Yeah, as in get them to pretty much every country around the globe.

Y/N: How did that even happen?

Stormfront: Homelander fucked up, that's how it happened. Now, I think we should get away from here. Pretty sure he'll turn his attention to us once he's done with them-

A loud shout echoed through the sky.

Y/N: What the hell was that?

I asked, covering my ears.

Stormfront said something but I wasn't able to hear it because another deafening shout followed.

I looked down and saw that Homelander was the one doing that.

Never knew he could do that, but that's an effective weapon for sure.

He then changed his technique, he wasn't using shouts one after the other anymore, but rather turned the shouts into one long scream.

Omni-Man covered his ears and so did everyone else while trying to get away from the Homelander so their heads won't explode.

But Omni-Man stood his ground, watching Homelander slowly stepping closer to him.

Once Homelander was in his reach, Omni-Man grabbed his jaw and crushed it, which stopped all the screaming.

Omni-Man: I've had enough of your bullshit, all of yours!

He yelled as he picked Homelander up and spun him around before throwing him at the other heroes.

Omni-Man: This was not supposed to be the day where I fight against Earth's defenders.

Starlight: Why did you come here then?

Omni-Man: To take care of my son.

Starlight: You...you killed him.

Omni-Man: Yes, I did. He wasn't a worthy son. He chose to defend your pathetic planet instead of conquering it.

Starlight: That's not a reason to kill your own son!

Omni-Man: It is, you people don't understand us, so don't try to tell me what's right and what's wrong. Enjoy your last seconds on this beautiful planet in silence.

Starlight: You can just return to your planet, you don't have to do this.

Omni-Man: I came here for my son, but now that he's gone. No one will be able to protect this planet from my wrath. I will crush this sphere, make it look like it never existed in the first place.
