We both used our lasers to cut through the horde of Supe Hunters above and beneath us, but even with us cutting them down, we weren't able to completely stop them from coming too close to us.

I changed my fighting style to close combat, while Homelander attacked the ones in the air.

Homelander: Ah shit.

He mumbled while looking down at the surrounding area.

Y/N: What's wrong?

I asked, still fending them off.

Homelander: There are a lot of them.

Y/N: I know, that's why I need you to fight, not talk.

I informed him as I punched one of the hunters through the head.

Homelander: I don't think you realize how many there really are.

Y/N: I don't care how many of them are down there. Just keep fighting.

Homelander: I don't know about you, but I really don't want to die by the hands of some no names.

Y/N: Nobody is going to die here, just keep fighting!

I commanded while hitting a Hunter through his side, cutting him in half.

Homelander: What the fuck makes you think you can order me around, huh? Forgot our roles again?

Y/N: Do you want to fight or not?

Homelander: I'm good up here, I think I prefer watching you do all the fighting.

Y/N: Good, more fame and admiration for me then.

I said, hoping it would convince him to start fighting as well, since I knew he loved admiration more than anything.

But unfortunately, he did the exact opposite.

He lasered me in the back which caused me to fall off the roof, right into the horde of the Supe Hunters.

They all immediately turned their attention to me and attacked.

Some were using their fists while others used their weapons to try and kill me.

Homelander was hovering in the air above us, a wide smile on his face as he waited for the Hunters to rip me apart.

This made me angry, I can't remember the last time I was as angry as I am now.

That's when my body began glowing in a bright green color.

I was now slightly hovering over the ground while my power kept charging, which caused Homelander to frown.

Homelander: Wait, what the fuck are you-

I released a powerful radiation blast, which ripped all the Hunters in proximity apart and destroyed all the buildings around us.

The blast damaged Homelander greatly and threw him away.

He was thrown so far, that I even lost sight of him.

I fell back down to the ground and dropped on my knees, as heavy breaths escaped mouth.

After crawling to the nearest ruin of a building, I leaned my back against the brick wall that was a building just a few seconds ago.

Y/N: What the hell...was that?

I asked myself, still not able to catch my breath.

The scientists that created me never mentioned that I had such a powerful ability.

I assume this ability won't harm Ben, just like his blast won't harm me.

Using this ability will come in handy if I get overwhelmed by enemies, it also feels like all my energy has been drained from me.
