Pack Life

"You must be Ryder, I'm Emily dear, the Alpha female," said person introduced, giving me a hug that made me freeze up.

"Nice to meet you," I said, once I was released from her grip, my accent still in place.

Now I guess I should explain exactly what is happening. Well you see after we had left the confines of the care, we had entered the pack house and was shown to the Alpha and Luna, which in turn were in the Alpha's office. That is where we were now, getting introduced to each other, well technically speaking I was being introduced to everyone.

"Glad to know you have manners, not many people your age have manners these days," Alpha Jake said, giving a slight laugh.

And it was just as I opened my mouth to reply, a knock on the door had holstered my movements. I sighed, defeated and closed my mouth as I moved to the side, away from the door, just as I did so the door opened.

"This better be important . . ."

A/N - to all those who are reading this book and are enjoying it, I am sorry to say that I have fallen out of love with the story and am unable to continue on with the tale. Though the very idea of the story is still appealing to my imagination the very fact that I had an overpowered teen whose own parents feared and shed away from, just ruined the story for me. Yes I know I was the one that wrote him that way but compared to now that was so long ago (probably not but it sure felt like it)
