Chapter 10: Drunk Draco

Draco and Blaise were sitting together in the common room waiting for Pansy and Amalia who were both going out shopping. They were catching up since Draco was with Amalia since the start of the year and he didn't give much attention to his best friend and only real friend Blaise. And this one seems to read his mind:

-I said to be friends with her. Not be her boyfriend

He looked at him confused. That is when he remembered his first talk with Blaise about Amalia

-Well, what can I do? I fell in love, Blaise

-Draco Malfoy, I must be dreaming, YOU are in love?

He laughed hard but looking at Draco's expression, he got it together

-You... you love her? He said with a shocked expression

-Yeah, I love Amalia

He kept looking at him

-You are the one who told me to befriend her

-Well, yeah, not fall in love with HER

-Too late

-Look, I'm happy for you, seriously, she's sweet, and a total fit for you. Bonus, she's a pureblood

Draco smiled but his smile faded remembering the conversation he had with Amalia yesterday about her real father. Blaise seemed to notice it.

-What's wrong mate?

-Nothing. He muttered

-To give you a little hunch, I knew this would happen

-What do you mean?

-Remember the drunk scene?

-Gosh, do you still remember that?

-It's unforgotten Draco

-Fuck off

He smiled as the girls entered the common room, giggling and laughing, they both turned around. Blaise looked at Draco who was looking at Amalia in awe in her tight green dress and her wavy red hair. She was beautiful, he couldn't lie, but his friend falling in love with her so quickly is exaggerating. He murmured to him:

-Did you guys do it yet?

-Do what? Draco answered

-You know, you both in the same bed, doing things, you're not an idiot Draco, you know what I mean

-Ohh No, we haven't yet

-What?

Seriously, Draco had changed for her, and it was making Blaise ecstatic. The girls came to sit on the sofa opposite them.

-So what were you guys talking about? Pansy said

-Oh, nothing just you know, Draco's drunk scene. Blaise said with a wide evil grin throwing a wink at Draco who was fuming at him

- Care to tell me what is Draco's drunk scene? Amalia said interested

-Oh, it's nothing, no worry about it.

-Shut it Draco, Blaise tells us the story. Pansy said

-Well, there was a party, hosted by a seventh-year Slytherin, right here and we were all invited.... Blaise started

Flashback:

Draco and I were going to the party, we had a blast that night, we were playing, drinking, dancing, and everything we do at a party. He was drunk, so drunk. That was when I lost him, that I decided to go to our shared room, and that is when I saw him. Sitting on his bed, crying.

-I wasn't crying. Draco said

-Shush, I'm getting to the best part.

I went over to him.

-Hey Draco, what's wrong? I said

He responded

-I am a loser, Blaise, I want love, I need love. Why is it so hard?

-Draco, you banged every hot girl in Hogwarts. What would you want more?

-Love

-Draco, you're drunk

-I want love Blaise, someone to love me and someone that I'll love

-You're overreacting, every girl is drooling over you and every guy's wish is to be you.

-But they want me not love me

He cried even more.

-Let's go back to the party

I tried to get him out of the room but he wouldn't. So I left him beside the bed still crying. And don't worry ladies, I stayed with him the whole night.

Pansy and Amalia burst out laughing

-You're exaggerating Blaise. Draco said angrily

-Oh, no I'm not, I still remember it as if it was yesterday

Draco pouted even more, Amalia stood up and went close to him sitting on his lap. He hugged her by the waist while she played with his hair.

-It's just a funny story Draco, no need to get angry. Blaise said

-No need to pout baby. Amalia murmured in his ear

He smiled and kissed her.

-I will forgive you, Blaise, by one condition

-What condition?

-You never tell anyone that story again

-I promise. Blaise finally said with a laugh
