Weeks passed after the letter, and no threat was around, everything seemed safe and peaceful. Dumbledore and Snape were more protective of Amalia after reading the letter while Draco tried to find out who was in hand with the Dark Lord, but all his efforts and researches were in vain.

Today, they were all meeting in the grand Hall to announce the champions that the goblet chose. Amalia was sitting side by side, hand in hand, afraid any of them would get chosen by the cup.

Dumbledore took the first piece of paper that fled from the fire. It was Victor krum from Durmstrang

Then the second. Fleur DeLacour from beauxbatons.

And the third. Cedric Diggory from Hogwarts

Amalia sighed in relief. She wasn't chosen, she wasn't going to compete but all her hopes were gone when another piece of paper fled out.

There were three champions. Where did this one come from?

She squeezed Draco's hand so tightly he winced from pain, he tried to assure her that it was probably not her, but someone else.

Dumbledore read the paper and his worried look went directly to Snape, McGonagall then Amalia before he shouted:

-We see that we have a last paper that isn't supposed to be here. It says Harry Potter and

He stopped for a moment.

-Amalia Snape.

-What? Was the first and only thing Amalia could say right now.

She let Draco's hand. And stood up, everyone was looking at her, she looked at Harry, but he was as surprised as she was.

She was chosen. She had to compete. She's going to meet him. But those games are dangerous. She could die. She was freaking out. Completely freaked out.

She was escorted out of the room to where the other champions were. The first three were already there and were looking at them with shock.

She and Harry just stood there, not knowing what to do. She looked around. She felt Harry's arms on her shoulder assuring her.

-It'll be okay. Don't worry. He said with a reassuring smile

-No, No, It won't be okay.

Dumbledore ended his speech in a hurry and came running with Snape and Draco beside him. As Draco saw Harry's arm around Amalia, he just go blinded with rage and pushed him away from his girlfriend who hugged him tight as if she was holding him into life.

She was crying on his shoulders, tears streaming down her face, her head buried in his neck, she just kept sobbing on her own as Draco tried to consulate her.

-Shhh, We'll find a way.

-I-I'm not ready Draco, I can't see him, not again, I don't want to see him at all.

-You need to play, we'll protect you. Dumbledore said with a worried tone.

The other guys were just looking at them trying to understand something.

Amalia stopped crying but you could see she was afraid, shaking in Draco's arms, unable to walk, unable to move, she was just shaking too much.

-Is there no way that she wouldn't play? Snape asked as he took his daughter in his arms

-No, Rules are rules. She has to compete, with Harry as a team, either way, there are consequences. The headmaster said with a sad look

-Take her to her room, and make sure she rests. If anything happens, come to me. Snape said to Draco.

The boy nodded and held Amalia again in his arms. She was trying to walk but she couldn't. The fear had taken over her.

When they got out of that room, she sat on a bench outside.

-If anything happens Draco, just please don't tell anyone the secret.

-Don't say that, you are just jumping to dumb conclusions. You will get out of there alive, you'll be fine, and soon, it'll be all just bad memories.

She cupped his face, her beautiful eyes were watery, and she had a bright redness on her cheeks.

-Draco, there isn't any jumping to conclusions with him. Either I fight beside him or I die, he made it clear the first time.

-Whatever happens, I promise that I'll protect you, I'll save you. I'll always be there for you.

They kissed before Draco sat beside her and held her in his arms, watching the beautiful view of the hills in front of them.

They held onto each other, afraid, scared. Amalia was afraid of her father, what he'd do to her if she saw him once again or if he captured her a second time. He would kill her, drain her from her powers, he'd be more powerful, she'd be powerless and she wouldn't fight against him at the time.

Draco, on the other hand, was scared of losing the one he loves, losing Amalia. He can't lose her, he'll get crazy without her. She was everything to him at the time. And it is why, he vowed to protect her at all costs, even his life if he had to, and swore to never break that promise.
