you plague my mind
and consume my heart,
kindling emotions i have
not felt for a long time,
envy, anger, sorrow,
bitter and sour feelings
that turn me into a lime.
as you shop, you throw
them all into the cart,
not caring about how your words,
and actions would affect me.
you send my thoughts into a spiral, causing me to overthink all the possibilities and the what ifs.
you've led me on once or twice,
and i wish you never did.
