3RD POV:
Months after (Y/N) and Leon rescued Ashley, the two of them began dating. Despite being complete opposites of each other, they couldn't get enough of each other.
One night after a long day, they were walking and (Y/N) tripped over a rock and nearly fell. However, Leon quickly swooped in and grabbed her just in time, and she said 'Thanks a lot' to him with an affectionate smile. Leon chuckled and playfully told her not to say it in that sarcastic tone this time.
As the relationship between the two blossomed, (Y/N) had become less guarded and more open and honest with Leon. She trusted him and liked having him around, making her realize that there was no need to put on an act with him.
A few months later, while the two of them were on a weekend vacation, Leon proposed to her. She was taken aback, but refused right away. This worried Leon and he asked her why she refused, and when (Y/N) replied "Thanks a lot, but I'm not ready yet.", Leon finally understood. He held her hands and kissed her forehead gently, saying he thought she still had walls up and wasn't ready to let him in.
Surprised by his words, (Y/N) didn't say anything for a bit and then finally said "Yeah.. Thanks a lot. That means a lot to me" before finally accepting his proposal.
The two of them were eventually married, and (Y/N) no longer said 'Thanks a lot' in a sarcastic way, instead using it to show her appreciation and gratitude for Leon. And the two of them lived happily ever after.
