3RD POV:
Y/N had come to realize that sometimes, enough was enough. Their relationship had been waning for a while now, their long conversations turning into gentle, yet distant exchanges. Still, Y/N never pushed it. Ada Wong always said she would change, that she would be a better partner, but Y/N just chose to ignore it.
Today, however, was the last straw. Ada had promised Y/N she would meet them out for dinner, but when she arrived late, simply shrugging her shoulders and saying she had 'lost track of time,' Y/N had to draw the line. In a rage of emotions, Y/N proclaimed that enough was enough and that they were through - Ada Wong was no longer Y/N's partner. Ada opened her mouth to protest but, Y/N held their hand up. They had heard this story too many times before.
Ada was left standing in the restaurant, mouth slightly agape. Y/N then made their way out, never looking back. As Y/N stepped onto the cool pavement, they took a deep breath - it was over.
It had been a hard decision to make, and Y/N felt a range of emotions within them - betrayal, sadness, relief. But they had walked away, and in time, they knew they would feel okay again. It had been a difficult road, but Y/N had made it to the end.
