was a college student attending Jupiter Hall University in California.
She was rushing to get to class on time , she had stayed up all night with her cute boyfriend Ned Nickerson ( Grant Gustin )
They been childhood friends & sweethearts .
Nancy was rushing to her class of the day only to see her best friend , and childhood friend Bess ( Victoria Justice )
sitting on a bench outside of the classroom.
" Bess , why are you outside and not in class ? " asks Nancy concerned .
Bess replys ,
" Last night the college campus mascot got stolen , so students are on high alert plus our teacher had a last minute thing so that means no class ! "
Nancy felt something was amiss , but shrugged it off to skipping breakfast !
Bess knew that look on Nancy's face ..
" Bess , we got a mystery to solve ,
go see what you can find out , I am going to catch a nap and call you after . "
Few hours later after Nancy's nap , she catches up to her boyfriend Ned Nickerson.
" Babe , how was practice ? "
" Nancy , it totally sucked !
Ever since the college campus mascot
was stolen , its like the team lost all morale !
I don't normally like you pursuing cases , so count me in on this case ! " hints Ned.
Nancy sighs , smiles , kisses her boyfriend ,
winks .
" I never fail a case , lets go grab some lunch , then get to snooping ! "
