They met during a Taekwondo championship. Yohan was one of the participants and Venus was in the audience coming to support friends of hers with whom she was training before she quit taekwondo. That day, he won the competition.
At the end of the championship, Venus went to congratulate her friends who were also well placed. When she walked towards one of them, she heard her name being called and turned around. It was at this moment that she ran into someone, not looking where she was going.
She almost fell but the boy grabbed her wrist before she felt and pulled her up. They looked into each other's eyes for a moment that seemed like eternity and Venus ended up excusing herself and quickly joining her friends without letting the boy speak.
As the celebration drew to a close, his friends decided to eat in a small restaurant. They left small group by small group and Venus' group arrived last at the agreed place.
When she entered, to her surprise, her gaze fell into that of a person she would never have imagine, the boy she had run into. Luck was ironically on her side when she saw that the last available chair was next to him.
An hour passed and the two still hadn't exchanged a word. None of their friends had noticed it and they were fine with it even if deep down they were intrigued by each other.

Yohan listened very attentively to the conversation. She already did taekwondo but on top of that, her level seemed to be impressive for her young age, she intrigued him even more.
"You were in the same club as them ?" were the first words he said to her. Both were surprised by his suede desire to speak. "Yes, I was lucky to have the best coach in Korea though" Their friends looked at each other but said nothing admiring the spectacle of an emerging love story in front of them (that's what they actually said in their heads).
