I know that I won't be able to match their characters as the ones in the game but I'll try my best to do so.

This chapter (and maybe the next one) will take place the summer before the events in the game. So that means Yuu is a separate character.

Riddle walks into the living room where his mother is. He sees a couple in the living room however and they are speaking with his mother. His mother notices him. "Ah you have arrived." His mother says with a smile on her face. The couple looks at him.

"Is this your son?" A woman asks with a face of annoyance. "Yes. Riddle come here." Riddle mother orders. Riddle walks to his mother's side and he notices that there is a boy there as well. "What is going on mother?" Riddle asks. "Well, me and Mrs. Winter were talking about an offer and we agree that her son will be your fiance." Riddle's mother says. "Oh..." Riddle says with a bit of disappointment. "Well you two should get to know each other." The woman says.

Riddle and the boy walk to Riddle's room and they sit down while watching each other. "Do you want this marriage?" Riddle asks the boy with curiosity. "Honestly no but my mother is always right so I just go along with it." The boy says while putting a hand through his hair. "Ah, so you're in the same boat." Riddle says with a bit of pity. The boy shrug. "If we go along with this plan then we won't have to listen to them again." The boy says with a happy tone. Riddle looks at him confuse at what he means. "Our parents will leave us alone when we start living together. So that means sweets!" The boy happily explains to Riddle.

Riddle smiles at the boy and he smiles back. 'Well he seems a bit nice.' Riddle thought. "How old are you?" The boy asks Riddle. "16 and you?" Riddle asks. "15." The boy answers. The boy sits next to Riddle and Riddle looks at him. "Do you go to school?" Riddle asks with curiosity. "Yes. I'm trying to get into NRC for next year." The boy answers. "Well I hope you do get in so we can learn more about each other's way of living." Riddle says with a smile to his face. "Son, come on! We're leaving!" The boy's mother yells. "Well see you in a few days." The boy says before leaving.
