Peaceful until a meeting

The next day

Riddle’s POV:

I look up from my book and I see Abaddon stir awake. “How are you feeling?” I ask with a hand in his hair. “Better.” He says and places his head on my lap. “Still tired?” I ask as I start petting his head. He nods and hugs my waist. “Well there is no school today so you can sleep in.” I tell him and he looks up at me. 

“Who are you and what did you do with my adorably lovely rose?” He asks with narrowed eyes and my cheeks heat up. 

“I can overlook my schedule for you.” I say with a huff. “I love you and all but you don’t have to lie to me.” He says and smiles. “If you want me to stay on your lap, I don’t mind.” He states, causing me to blush redder.

“SH!” I say while looking away from him. He sits up and kisses my cheek. “You know you love me~” He stays in a sing-song tone. “Yes yes I know.” I say and he lays back down. “What ya reading?” He asks, trying to see the book.

“Oh it’s that book you recommended to me.” I say, showing him the book. “Oh Dealing with Dragons? How is it?” He asks, wanting to know my opinion on it, (Dealing with Dragons is one of my favorite books so I had to put it in)

“Well, so far I’m at the part where Cimorene is meeting the other princesses. I’m enjoying it.” I say. “Ah I’m glad you are enjoying it.” He says smiling, quite obvious that he is happy. “Well you know a good book when you see one.”

We hear a knock on the door and I sigh in annoyance. “Come in.” I say and Abaddon sits up. Cater walks into the room with Trey scolding him for some reason. “Why is Abaddon in here?” Cater asks, confused. “I came here to chat with him.” Abaddon says, annoyed that Cater interrupted. 

No one’s POV:

“I’m sorry but I have to know what is going on with you two.” Cater says with narrowed eyes. Trey smacks Cater on the back of the head and sighs. “If you want to know about them then you have to tell them about your boyfriend.” Trey says with a smirk, causing Cater to blush.”W-Whatever!” Cater says and runs out of the room. “Thank you Trey.” Riddle says while sighing in relief.

Abaddon lays down on Riddle’s lap. “So I heard that you helped Vil out.” Trey says to Abaddon and Riddle looks at Abaddon, confused. “I just helped him get an earring from under a piece of furniture. You’re acting like I was cheating.” Abaddon says with a huff and Riddle glares at Trey. 

“Okay okay!” Trey says with a laugh and leaves the room. “He’s annoying.” Abaddon huffs and Riddle pets his head. “Don’t worry about him.” Riddle says. A few minutes later, an alarm goes off. “What is that alarm for?” Abaddon asks while Riddle turns off the alarm.

“It's for a meeting.” He says and Abaddon whines.”I know, I know. I’m sorry!” Riddle says and Abaddon pouts. “Please don’t pout!” Riddle says, wrapping his arms around Abaddon’s head.

“Is it that important?” Abaddon asks, still annoyed. “I don’t think so but it’s mandatory.” Riddle says with a sigh. “Annoying.” Abaddon says.

Apologies for not updating. I have work for my classes and it's so annoying! At least I have a class with one of my friends and it's an easy class, Intro to Microsoft 365.
