The beginning

Abaddon walks out of the shadows with his hood down. He walks to Grim and easily picks him up. "You are breaking rules." Abaddon says with a monotone tone in his voice. He tosses him towards the dorm leaders and runs a hand through his hair.

"Well, good job Abaddon, for catching the rule breaker." Riddle thanks him. "It's no problem, Riddle." Abaddon says. "You two know each other?" Kalim asks. "Correct." Riddle states and points his magic pen at Grim. "Off With Your Head!" A collar appears on Grim's neck and the ice disappears. "MYAH?! What are you doing?!" Grim yells. "The Queen of Heart's Rule 23: One must never bring a cat to a formal affair." Abaddon states while he stands next to Riddle. "Your very presence here is a violation of order. You will vacate these premises immediately." Riddle orders. "But I ain't a cat either!" Grim states.

"If it looks like a cat, acts like a cat and talks like a cat. It's a cat." Abaddon says with a straight face and people chuckle at that.

"Don't try to collar me! I'll burn it right off! Huh...? Wh-What gives? My fire ain't working!" Grim yells. "Until I deign to remove that collar, you won't be using any magic." Riddle says with a smirk. "You're naught but a pet cat now." Everyone is shocked that they can both talk for the other like that. "M-meoWHAT?! I ain't nobody's pet-NOTHING!" "Oh, you've nothing to worry about there." Abaddon states. "I certainly have no interest in having you as a pet. The collar will disappear once you're removed from campus." Riddle states. "Ha-HA! Good show as always, Riddle. Your signature spell locks down any magic. It's quite handy." Azul says and Abaddon pays close attention to what Azul is saying.

"I've just GOT to have it- ah, I mean, I've just got to have respect for it." Azul says, quickly fixing his mistake. Abaddon makes a mental note to inform Riddle later. "Yuu! Was I not clear that you are expected to take responsibility for your familiar?" Headmage Crowley asks. "I've told you repeatedly that it isn't mine!" Yuu tells him. "Oh..Is that so?" Headmage asks then clears his throat. "Then I shall have it expelled from campus. I shall even spare it from being served as dinner. My, but I AM kind...Someone take this away, please." Headmage asks and two students enter the room and drag Grim away. "Nooooo! Let me gooooo! You fools better remember my name! Cause I'm gonna go down in the annals of magic history! Just you wait!" Grim yells as he is dragged away. "Well, that was quite the unexpected fracas. I hereby declare that orientation has concluded. Housewardens, please escort your students back to the dorms." Headmage asks.

He notices something. "Hm? Come to think of it, I don't see Housewarden Draconia of House Diasomnia anywhere." Headmage says. "And that surprises you? Dude's a total recluse." Leona says. "Wait a sec...Did anyone even invite him?" Kalim asks with worry. "If you're that worried about him missing out, maybe you should have told him yourself." Vil states and Abaddon looks at him. "Disappointing." Abaddon says and Riddle sighs, knowing that Abaddon isn't pleased that Malleus wasn't invited.

"Draconia...Like, Malleus Draconia? THAT Draconia?" A student asks. "So it's true? He really does go to school here?" Another asks. "Yikes." Another says. "Ah. Just as I'd expected. I figured I'd come down and see for myself weather Malleus had made an appearance. But once again, he was evidently not informed that his presence was required at an official ceremony." A boy says. "Lilia, you have my sincerest apologies. I assure you, this oversight was in no way intended as a snub." Azul says. "Really? It sounds like this has happened multiple times." Abaddon says. "You can't invite someone to something important just because they are hard to approach. This just proves that you can't face someone stronger than you." Abaddon states with annoyance in his voice.

Riddle quietly sighs, knowing that Abaddon is right. "Who are you?" Lilia asks. "Abaddon Winter." Abaddon answers. "Ah. So you have experience in this matter." Lilia says. Abaddon shrugs and everyone leaves.

At Heartslabyul

Cater notices that Abaddon is following Riddle and he stops Abaddon with Riddle noticing. "Why are you following Riddle?" Cater asks. "I asked him too, Cater." Riddle answers. "Ah! Okay! Sorry." Cater apologies and he leaves.

Abaddon and Riddle walk into Riddle's room. Riddle looks at Abaddon. "So what is it?" Riddle asks. "Did you hear what the one with glasses said?" Abaddon asks. "No. What did Azul say?" Riddle answers then asks. "He wanted your magic." Abaddon answers. "Ah, of course he did. Thank you for telling me." Riddle says and Abaddon smiles. "No problem, Riddle." Abaddon says and he leaves the room.
