"The World Cup, eh?" Y/N hummed as she spoke to Reo. "You're so... determined. Persistent..." she pointed out.
"Thanks!" he grinned at the girl. Y/N resolved she'd do whatever in her power to keep this man's dream running. He just seemed too pure for the world.
"Reo, y'know what... I'll do whatever in my power to make your dream a reality, 'kay?" she stated in her usual quiet voice, and looked at the sky above them.
She, Reo and Nagi were outside on the roof as it was their lunch break, with Nagi simply playing games on his phone.
"Y/N...!" Reo was very happy with her statement and looked as if he was about to get teary, and leaned in to hug her.
"What's the harm I guess..." she mumbled, and let him hug her.
Nagi still hadn't paid much attention to the scene going on above him, as he was sitting down and the other two stood as they talked.
Reo took the football he had beneath his feet and aimed it towards Nagi's head to get his attention.
"Ow..." the white-haired boy muttered, and the shot having made him lose his game. Y/N stifled her laughter with her sleeve and lightly whacked Reo's arm at his action.
"C'mon now Reo," she teased, "you don't wanna give him a concussion just yet."
He smiled at her, and turned to Nagi, "Come on Nagi, let's play football."
Looking up, in a tired manner, he groggily replied, "Eh- already? You're persistent.."
"That's what I said, Nagi-kun," Y/N agreed disdainfully.
Reo decided not to listen to the two's complaints, and said, "That smartphone trap of yours seriously gave me chills! I'm certain you've got a talent for football!"
Turning to Y/N he continued, "And Y/N! That box one-legged flick was unreal!"
"One-legged flick?" Y/N thought, confused.
"What a pain..." Nagi internally complained.
"You'll both be the best in the world with me! Nagi is on the field, and Y/N raising us to the top! It's your destiny! You should be proud that I found you!"
Y/N sweatdropped at her new friend's enthusiasm but found it quite endearing if anything. She hadn't had any friends at this school before either, so this new company was quite fun.
"...Don't you read too much manga?" Nagi interrupted.
"Shut up, we need to go!" Reo was finally preparing to drag the two of them with him at that point.
"...But Reo," Nagi attested, "I thought there wasn't a football club here in the first place?"
Reo looked at the boy, confused, "Huh? We've already talked about that stuff."
