It was a home game at Hakuho High School, and the players noticed as the Aomori Dadada players started walking in, one by one.

"...We're forced to go along with the hobbies of the rich, aren't we?" said a tall bloke from the school. Y/N noticed almost everyone on the team was intense. It was a little intimidating to her.

"Well, whatever," the scary dude murmured, "I'll shatter this naive rich kid's fantasies," he declared, glaring at Reo in front of him.

"Into tiny pieces in no time," he continued. "Nice to meet ya sheltered boy."

Y/N peered at the lunatic. She stood next to Reo, who he was walking towards with a hunch in his back; though she figured it was an intentional stance to make herself seem more intimidating. From his figure, she could tell he was an aggressive player who relied on the strength of his body to get his way in a game and pressure the opponent's players who dared challenge him.

She thought for a few moments about the chances of outcomes of the game, and as Reo stepped forward to respond, she calmly placed her hand on his wrist to utter, "You'll crush them. I've got nothing to add."

"Good," Reo grinned, as he turned to the provocative guy in front.

"What?" the man taunted, "Is that your naive girlfriend too now? Haven't seen her in the headlines just yet-"

"Shut up," Reo responded abruptly. "You're the naive ones, you football meatheads. Don't talk about me at your insignificant calibre, simpletons."

The other team were quickly irked at that, and made sounds of annoyance, as Reo continued.

"You guys still don't know who the real genius is."

Lunatic No.1 snickered under his breath, saying all sorts of annoying junk Y/N couldn't be bothered listening to. She decided she'd step in this time.

"For your info," she stared her bored eyes into him, "the genius isn't Reo."

"It's us," Reo finished, as he pridefully brought his newly readied team to the pitch. He radiated captaincy, and Y/N stood for the side where she'd watch. She realised Reo was hoping for a little more involvement from her, but as she said before, Hahuko were going to "crush" Aomori Dadada, so it wasn't like there wasn't anything more she needed to do.

Still, it wasn't going to stop her from watching their little friendly match.

"Strategy, huh?" Nagi muttered, not turning an eye away from his phone.

It was 2 hours before their club's first match, and Y/N felt slightly excited about it.

Of course, she wouldn't show that outwardly in front of Reo. He'd get way too into his head if he found out how much Y/N was actually interested in football.
