There stood a dark cloud, within that dark cloud, was a small, just a tiny glimmer of light that hung over the flower. That flower being Violette. That little light may one day get bigger and make that dark cloud disappear so that little flower could bloom into something even more beautiful.
For now, that cloud will continue to grow darker with thunder and occasional lightning trying to strike the delicate flower.
"How could you let your talk to us like that, as if we are some scum under your shoe. Why wouldn't he not want to be friends with us?"
"He certainly shouldn't be friends with you. I'm sure he will see that soon."
"I-I didn't know he would say something like that." Violette backed slightly against the glass of the sliding door. The three girls surrounded her, with only Renee looking at her with no emotion while the others held anger and disgust.
"Kick her out, make her sleep outside. I don't want to share a room with her. I'm sick and tired of her."
"Yeah, let's see if she will beg to come back inside."
Violette was pushed outside with the sliding door locking from the inside. The two girls laughed while Renne's back was turned away, ignoring what was going on.
"H-Hey! Let me back in! I-I'm sorry just let me back in! Please, I don't want to sleep out here."
Banging on the glass didn't do anything. No matter what she did, the girls did nothing.
"Useless dog, stay out there until we feel like letting you in."
"THAT IS QUITE ENOUGH!"
A frightening dark and deep voice was heard in the distance. Violette thought maybe it was the teacher who might have finally understood what was going on. But instead, it was much more compelling than a teacher to see such a despicable display of abuse. Turning around, the figure stood upon the ledge, towering over Violette as he held a furious-looking expression.
"How disgusting to treat a human being. You should be ashamed!" He hissed at the girls, making them cower in fear towards the opposite end of the room.
Violette stared at the figure, it was the man from the other night. The strange man looked down at the girl before him and crotched down to meet her level.
"I've been searching for you, my dear. To think you have been enduring abuse from such disgusting excuses for women is disgraceful and I am terribly sorry to let you endure it. To have abandoned you like this..."
The young girl looked up at him with saddened eyes, but it wasn't the worse she's endured. She was used to being treated this way. So much that her heart was long since shattered from any hope of anyone caring.
"Then I can take you away now. Come here, I promise I won't hurt you. I could never, not to you."
His expression went from rage to adoration instantly the moment his eyes set upon her. A look Violette was not used to, and she wasn't sure how to take it. She was reluctant to take his hand that was outstretched to her. But if she were to stay she would be sleeping outside in the cold. There wasn't much she was losing, she decided to take the man's hand. Pulling her closer, he held her in his arms. Looking up, she remembered his features. He was a lot more noticeable now with the moonlight grazing upon his skin. It was slightly pale with the moon's rays. However, his hair still remained long and beautiful. It was the color of midnight. His eyes were a striking ruby that glowed. He was cold and yet his demeanor was warm. He had a slender frame but his muscles were apparent through his collared shirt that was open this time instead of closed. Violette did her best not to be fixated on the newly exposed skin.
