Deception Or Exception

1. the beggining

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲,
Living in one of the best places on Earth they said, the chaotic crowds, the rats, the dirty public places, parties with wasted teens.

Especially during Halloween,
Everyone was getting ready to party tonight here at Blackmore University, dressing up, getting drunk, just a typical teenage life. But me? I was ready to stay in avoiding all human interaction as possible.

A sudden startle at the door with heavy pounding interrupted my peace & quiet night. 'Here we go.'

'Y/n i know you're in there open the door or i swear to god i'll knock this door down!' Mindy screamed on the other side of the door. Anika chuckling at whatever her lovely girlfriend said.

'Good luck trying to break in with all these child proof locks but hey knock yourself out!' I said unlocking every lock sam had installed for Tara's and I's protection as well with our new roomie Quinn, who we were all relieved her dad was a cop, but she really needs to quiet down on whatever happens in that damn room.

I open the door and Anika's mouth drops wide open 'Why aren't you dressed Y/n the party literally starts in half an hour?!'

I laughed on my way back to my room 'I told you guys i'm not going' i said with a grin.

Me and Anika met through of course, my best friend Mindy, who they are now dating.
At first i was obviously paranoid by her and was the only one by it while the others told me to shrug it off and 'life has to move on and you can trust some people' which i was tired of hearing but soon Anika grew on me slowly (she got me Oreos the second week.)

'Y/N you can't rot in this damn room eating popcorn & a movie marathon the entire night!' Mindy argued.

'Uh yes i can' I said with a mouth full of popcorn. Anika sighed and ran to my dresser moving my clothes around trying to find something 'sexy' or 'attractive' for me to wear while Mindy got interested on what i was watching, she sat next to me until i smacked her.

'𝐇𝐄𝐘?' Mindy said about to grab some of my popcorn 'You're not getting any of my popcorn Minds' I said grabbing a handful of it and eating it in-front of her face.

'𝐀𝐇𝐀' I heard Anika say while she grabbed a stripped red & black crop-top & a black skirt and threw it on my bed 'Put this on Y/n 𝐍𝐎𝐖' Anika demanded.

'And what am i supposed to be exactly?' i hummed 'Well according to my color coordination this is exactly like Freddy Krueger'

I looked at her and back at the clothes then back at her 'Hmmm No' with a smile.

'Y/n come on, plus this'll look sexy on you and who knows you might attract a lover' Anika smirks while Mindy is still distracted throughout the episode.

'I don't careee about finding a lover Anika besides the guys here aren't appealing to my taste' I said

'Okay so, What's your taste then' She said with a devilish smile & i rolled my eyes 'Hmm someone who... I won't meet at a halloween party' I winked as i stood up to go get some popcorn & Anika gave Mindy the 'Help Me' stare while Mindy groaned and grabbed my arm

'Listen Y/n you're not staying in a room by yourself when you can come, get wasted and make out with some random mannequin instead of watching these cartoons right now so 𝐘𝐎𝐔'𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐆. 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐃𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐄𝐃. 𝐍𝐎𝐖. ' Mindy looked me straight in the eye 'Love ya be ready in 10' she said as her and Anika walked out the room smiling.

'𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐄.' i said while putting a pillow on my face laying down in bed. But what can a girl loose, looking hot in this and just go with the flow i guess.

I put on the outfit and tried to do some Freddy look alike makeup (tried not looking like a gremlin).

'𝐓𝐀𝐃𝐀' i said with sarcastically jazz hands 'okay can we go now moms?' i say grabbing my house keys '𝐘𝐀𝐘' Anika says clapping up & down 'i'm glad you changed your mind' Mindy says 'Yeah it's not like i'm being forced against my Will' i say sarcastically.
