I never paid much attention to him. As a part of the pack, we were always told to stay away from the Cullens. They were dangerous. Killers. Cold-Ones. They never truly got to know them, even after all this time.
It wasn't until a threat of murders started creeping closer to the place I called home that I started to get to know these so-called 'monsters'.
Sam explicitly told me not to talk to them, that we could handle it.
But who was I to ever pay attention to the rules?
Who knew that breaking a rule or two, could change the entirety of my mortal life.
