minho woke up a little startled at the screaming sounds
who the fuck would be screaming at 6 am on a saturday?
his parents would.
he sat up and rubbed his eyes a little, then just rested his face in his hands
he stayed like that for a few minutes, waiting for the yelling to stop, but it never did
they would argue for hours and hours and it would never end
and minho would have to endure this alone everytime
he laid back on his side and brought his knees to his chest, closing his eyes and just hoping to fall back asleep
he knew he couldn't but he still tried
he shut his eyes tight and covered his ears trying not to think too much
not like he wasn't used to it, oh he was
these arguments would happen everyday ever since he was a kid
and he knew that in some more minutes they would come up and yell at him
it always was that way, they would complain about how useless of a son he was
his dad would tell him he never even wanted a kid and he regrets having minho
he would insult him, tell him he's worthless, a disappointment and all that shit
and sometimes beat him up
his mom would just watch and do nothing about it
and he resented both of them for that
minho felt tears come up to his eyes even though they were closed
breathing became harder for him and he started getting shaky
they weren't even yelling at him right now so what was wrong with him?
he was definitely having a panic attack, and he did what he does best; hide it.
he would get panic attacks very often especially in arguments with his parents
and he would start fidgeting with his fingers and biting his nails which just resulted in his dad getting more mad and hitting him
so he learned to hide them, but that just made the feelings inside him worse
and he would break down after everything is over and just cry himself to sleep
he heard a loud bang that snapped him out of his thoughts, the yelling stopped
which only meant that his dad left and the bang was the sound of the door closing
he then heard his phone buzz, it was a text from chan in the group chat
he immediately opened his phone to distract himself
