the way seungmin was awkwardly standing in front of the table
and the way hyunjin was waiting for him to do something must've looked funny to anyone looking
"are you gonna sit or are just gonna stare at me?" hyunjin raised an eyebrow
"i wasn't staring" he said before pulling the chair a little and sitting down
"ah yeah sure" the blonde scoffed
"i don't stare at ugly people" he simply said
"well i think you look good" hyunjin stated taking the younger a little bit off guard
seungmin blinked at him for a few seconds before exhaling through his nose and looking to the side
but he managed to mumble a forced 'thanks'
"shouldn't we be working on the project right now?" he added looking at the older who gave a nod and a slight shrug at the same time
"okay... where do we start off??" seungmin asked
"i think you should start by ordering something first" hyunjin chuckled a little
"fair enough"
hyunjin decided to help with that by calling the nearest waiter to them
"excuse me" he motioned with his hand catching the waiter's attention, who started walking towards them
"could we please get another menu?" he asked the man who nodded smiling a little then went to get the menu
hyunjin made his order a while before seungmin arrived and he already got it
the waiter came back with a menu and handed it to seungmin who thanked him
he waited for the boy to make his order
and not wanting to make the man wait too much, seungmin picked the first drink he saw, a vanilla milkshake
"alright, i'll be back with your drink in a few minutes" the waiter smiled then walked away
seungmin went ahead and pulled two notebooks from his bag, putting them on the table
"i brought my chemistry lessons from last year, we might need them" he explained
"i stil don't know what the fuck we're supposed to do" hyunjin sighed deeply as he sunk in the chair
"i guess a kind of report or summary about last year's program?"
"that makes no sense? can't they do that themselves?" the blonde made a 'what the fuck' face
"well it is dumb, but it's still homework so whatever" the ravenette shrugged
"what do you even remember from those lessons?" seungmin added, not expecting anything from hyunjin
"uhm.. well, the only chemistry lessons i attended were the exams so... i kind of? don't know anything to remember" he scratched his neck
