While Felix is tidying his bed before class, Seungmin stand outside their room, patiently waiting for his roomate to finish. Eyes staring at his phone screen, specifically the new contact saved. His mind recall the conversation between him and Hyunjin. He sigh. Hand lowering down his phone as his head stare up at the celling. " What does this mean? Why are you giving me mixed signal, Hwang Hyunjin?"
The door shut. Felix come outside. " I'm done."
" Alright, let's go."
While they're walking, Seungmin notice Felix staring down at something on his hand and rubbing it. He look to what Felix is looking. His eyebrows furrow after he saw the broken screen thing. He swiftly avert his gaze with eyes full of regret but his silly mind make him ask the question. " How did you broke your phone?"
" No idea. I found it broken this morning. I suspect Minho sneak into our room and accidentally step on it."
Seungmin have no heart to tell Felix the truth so " Oh," is the only word that escape from his word after.
They both walk in silent until they reach the stair and see Hyunjin is there too.
Hyunjin also notice them and give a quick smile. " Hey."
"Hi." Seungmin reply. His cheek heated.
" Waiting for your cousin?" Felix ask.
" Yeah, as usual. Oh, there he is."
Felix and Seungmin looking up to the stairs where a red hair man hurriedly climb down and meet their gazes. " Oops. I've got three fine man waiting for me today." Renjun says, jokingly.
" Don't be absurd." Hyunjin reply as his cousin stand next to him. Renjun give him a stare only the two of them understand and smirk suspiciously.
" Don't start it." Hyunjin threaten in whisper and Renjun merely shrugs his shoulder. He walk pass Hyunjin and climb down the stair first." Let's take a breakfast, shall we, everyone."
" Do you want to join us breakfast?" Hyunjin ask them.
"Sure. How about you join our table? I can introduce you to our other friends. What do you say?" Felix suggest as they walk downstairs.
" Sounds good."
Felix and Hyunjin walk next to each other while Seungmin follow them from behind silently. " Oh, right." Felix turn back to Seungmin. " This is Seungmin by the way. He's also our classmate. I don't know if you guys know each other so..."
Hyunjin take a glance at Seungmin. " I know. We've talked before."
Seungmin nod his head. " Yeah..."
" Oh, I thought you are unfamiliar with one another. I guess I'm wrong."
After picking up their foods, they went to their usual table where the three others are already there. " Hey, guys. Mind if Hyunjin sit with us?"
"Oh, our handsome guy. Feel free to sit wherever you want." Jisung offer.
Hyunjin mutter a thank and sit next to Changbin. Seungmin and Felix take their sit as well. Felix next to Jisung and Seungmin next to Felix.
As Seungmin rest his back on the chair, Minho roll his eyes and rise up. He bring his tray along and says," I'm done," before leaving.
Seungmin could only watch until Minho lost from his sight. He try not to feel offended but knowing well that he is the reason why Minho act like that us is because of him make him feel more offended than he should be.
Changbin notice the change in Seungmin's facial expression. He quickly says," Don't mind him."
"So, I guess you know Jisung already,no?" Felix ask Hyunjin.
Hyunjin chuckle. " Of course. How can I not. He's popular in our class."
Jisung nod. " Yeah. How can he not know the famous me?!"
Without being told, Changbin introduce himself.
" Not me, I guess? "
Hyunjin look at the unfamiliar person. He scratch his head. " Uh, you're not from our batch, aren't you?"
Changbin laugh. " Correct. I'm a year ahead from you guys. Just call me Binnie."
" Oh, okay. Nice to meet you." They do the handshake.
"By the way,Felix, Seungmin and Hyunjin . Did you read the notice? It says that there will be a water supply interruption in the near future so the school agree to give us school break for three days starting today." Jisung interrupt.
" A-ha, and then?" Felix.
" Shouldn't you be happy? We're finally going home after after three months being here. Oh, and class is also cancel this morning. We can start packing our thing and leave by this afternoon."
" Oh, no. This is too sudden. I haven't got any transportation to get me home. My parents are working outstation too and now my phone broke. Ugh..." Felix says.
" Lame." Jisung says, teasingly.
" What about those who don't want to go back home? Can't we just stay here?" Seungmin ask. His voice is low.
" About that, yeah, you can. But the cafeteria will not open along the week. So, you either can cook by yourself or go out to find food outside. But, hey, come on. Who doesn't want to go home. It's freaking sudden holiday. To include Saturday and Sunday as a weekend, we have five days to enjoy before coming back here like hell. So, tell me are you guys are staying here or leaving?"
" I think it's a good opportunity to escape study hours for now. I'll leave. How about you, Felix?" Hyunjin state.
" Uhhh, maybe yes, maybe not, I don't know. I haven't decided. Changbin?"
" Yes, indeed. I've already tell my mum to pick me up. You leaving too, Seungmin?"
All eyes turn to Seungmin. " Uhhh ... Maybe I'll stay."
Felix decided to leave after all. He already have his things packed. So, Seungmin could just sit there on his bed and stare his roomate. " I think I will have to buy a new phone so that's why I'm leaving. About the transportation, maybe I'll borrow whoever phone to call Uber or Grab. Hopefully, someone is nice enough to lend me one."
" I'll pray someone will do." Seungmin comment. He sigh. " I guess I'm to die because of boredom here alone. There's nothing to do here also."
" If you know it's going to be boring, why don't you just go back home also?"
Seungmin stay on silent. He take a while to answer." There's no one at home after all. What's the point of leaving?"
"Why? Your parents work outstation too?"
" My parents are dead."
" Oh, sorry. I didn't know."
" It's fine. I'm going to miss you. Stay safe, okay?"
"Will be."
They both hug before Felix sling his bag onto his shoulder and walk out to the door. " Oh, and before I forget. My brother will be temporary transfer here due to the order of the warden. Maybe they want to save the electric so they purposely put the student who can't come home in one room. You and him are the only ones who refure to go home in this floor so... yeah. I hope you two can get along."
