"gosh, it's so hot today," sunoo says, fanning himself and wiping his sweat with his handkerchief. he's sitting with niki in a grass field under a tree, watching the school cheering team practice their routine.

niki turns to sunoo, offering him a drink "want some? this was supposed to be for jungwon but when i came back here, he's suddenly gone. where is he anyway?" sunoo grabs the drink and takes a sip, liking the feeling of the cold lemonade hitting his throat. he shrugs, "he went with jay to some place, they're working on some collaboration project or something" 

niki only nods, and they continue to unwind in silence. it was calm for a while, but then there's a disturbance that breaks the peaceful environment they were in. it was a swarm of freshmen shouting their hearts out and building a crowd. sunoo, being the chismosa that he is, decides to rise up and check what the ruckus is all about. 

but when he sees who it is, he rolls his eyes and returns to the shade. "who was it?" niki asks, clearly intrigued, "oh, just some random athletes. don't know who they are though, and i really don't care" wrong. he definitely knows who the athletes are, and he obviously cares. he would never acknowledge it, not out loud or even to himself. 

"please sunghoon, my friend would like to take a picture with you. would you be kind to do that? please, she really likes you!"

"sunghoon, i really like you! please accept this gift!"

"hoonie, would you like to be my boyfriend? i can be your cute freshman girlfriend" 

sunoo had had enough; he would not stand by and watch sunghoon be a school heartthrob, being asked out by girls and taking pictures with others. so he gets up, clearly irritated, and walks out.

niki could only watch him walk away. what's the matter with him?

sunghoon is in a hurry. he needs to find sunoo and apologize to him, but first he needs to practice with the archery squad before their coach lets them explore the campus. he'd never been so eager to finish practice before; his existence used to center only around archery and his academics, until a pink-haired student nurse walked in and wrecked his heart, taking it with him.  

he was so determined to get let off early that he hit three perfect tens in a row, surprising both his teammates and his coach. he places his arrows in his quiver and runs to his coach, "can i go now coach? i really am in a hurry." his coach raises his eyebrows, perplexed by sunghoon's behavior "why? you never leave practice early, you're usually the last one to leave" 

"i know, but i really need to do something important. please coach? just this once," he practically begged, and so he allows sunghoon to go.

sunghoon has never run so fast in his life. he rushes out of the gym and meets up with his friends, who claim to know where sunoo is. they were all up in his business trying to find out what happened with sunoo, but even then he couldn't explain why he raced out of the gym sobbing. he was just as naïve as they are, which makes him even more determined to ask for his forgiveness. 

they stroll around the entire campus, looking for sunoo. it turns out that his friends have no idea where he is, and sunghoon has never wanted to choke the both of them so badly. they walked so far that they ran into jay and jungwon.

"do you know where sunoo is?" sunghoon asks jungwon, who is surprised by the question "sunoo? yeah i do, why are you asking?" sunghoon was taken aback but he decided to act nonchalant about it "oh i just have to ask him something, about my health exam and stuff" he could tell jungwon wasn't convinced but he just shrugs "he's in the field with niki, they should still be sitting under a tree."

"ohhh sunoo and niki sitting under a tree, K-I -- ow!" sunghoon smacks both heeseung and jake on the head before carrying them out by the collar. he is jealous; why would his sunoo be with someone else? he can't bear the thought of what might happen between the two of them.

so he rushes to the fields, where he sees niki offering sunoo a drink, which enrages him even more. why is he handing my sunoo a drink? i should be the one sitting under a tree with him, not this guy! 

he was getting closer to the fields when he was halted by a swarm of freshmen who gathered around him and him and his friends. sunghoon attempted to walk through the crowds to get to sunoo faster, but he became completely trapped.

"please sunghoon, my friend would like to take a picture with you. would you be kind to do that? please, she really likes you!"

"sunghoon, i really like you! please accept this gift!"

"hoonie, would you like to be my boyfriend? i can be your cute freshman girlfriend"

sunghoon tries to sneak a glimpse at sunoo and notices him grabbing his belongings and walking away. he is sad because sunoo is ignoring him and does not want to see him. but he couldn't blame him; why would he want to see sunghoon after what happened in the cafe? sunghoon turns and tries to get away from the crowd, but he is surrounded.

but he can't let sunoo go. he can't allow another day go by without telling sunoo he's sorry and how he genuinely feels. he just can't let him go.

so sunghoon pushes his way through the mob, sprinting to catch up to sunoo. he will not let him go, and he will not let him and sunoo become strangers again. he eventually makes it towards sunoo and grabs his wrist, forcing him to turn around.

"sunoo, please listen to me. i'm sorry." sunghoon says, pleading with sunoo to listen to him. "i don't think we have anything to talk about, we haven't even known each other that long." sunoo says coldly, his eyes avoiding sunghoon's "please, you need to hear me out." he could see the eyes that once looked at him warmly has turned cold "i already heard your sorry, i have heard enough."
