"We'll meet again, Killua." Gon said, casting a bright smile towards Killua and Alluka, but mostly Killua.
"Yeah." Killua responded, a hint of sorrow cracking in his voice.
Their separation didn't last long, because soon after Killua spoke, his eyes wandered around viciously.
His eyes rolled up to his head before his body went limp.
"Killua!" Gon yelled, but his attempt proved to be futile as a bright but oddly dark light blinded his view of Killua.
Alluka screamed, unsure and afraid of what was happening.
But Killua disappeared before Gon could reach him.
Shocked and unsure of what to do next, he turned to Alluka and embraced her in a hug.
Her eyes shined with water when warm tears rolled down her cheeks.
"What happened to Brother?" She wailed.
"I-I don't know." Gon answered, but he couldn't let Alluka see him panic, that would make her panic.
Gon glanced around, people were staring. Not of annoyance, but of shock and sympathy.
And pity.
Then, Gon remembered of his father, Ging, that he was supposed to meet him at the top of the World Tree.
"Alluka," She looked up at him with a sob. "Maybe Ging will help us."
Confusion and hope replaced the sadness in her eyes.
"He can?"
"Yeah!" Gon said, picking Alluka up bridal style and began running to up the World Tree to Ging.
Alluka's POV
Gon picked her up, he was almost as fast as Brother (when he wasn't using Godspeed).
She sobbed some more, hoping that Brother was okay and she would see him again.
She sniffed and wiped her tears away.
No, she thought. I will be strong for Brother. He saved me, now Gonii-Chan and I will save him.
Determination overrode the fear and shock that Alluka was feeling.
Suddenly, Gon put her down. They were on the World Tree.
The view was amazing, but that wasn't her main focus.
"Ging!" Gon called out, grabbing his attention.
"I can tell something's wrong." Ging responded.
"Please help us!" Alluka yelled. She tried to sound brave but it came out quite the opposite.
"I feel dizzy." Gon mumbled quietly, but loud enough for just Alluka to hear.
The rest was a blur.
He fell to the ground (the ground on the World Tree), and the same light as before coated his body, and he disappeared.
Ging ran over, obviously as shocked as Alluka was.
But Alluka wasn't paying attention, because her brain hurt and she also got dizzy.
Realizing what would happen to her, she laid down, Ging raised an eyebrow at her.
"You okay?"
Alluka shook her head no, her eyes rolling up and eyelids fluttering closed.
She was met with darkness.
Killua's POV
He wasn't unconscious for long.
His eyes flew open as the same light as before threw him out.
And when he says out, he means 200 feet in the air.
He panicked. Killua repositioned himself so he'd land on his feet.
He covered himself in Ken, waiting to land.
Killua knew that he'd be badly injured when he gets in contact with the ground.
Which is exactly what happened.
The moment he touched the ground, he could hear bones cracking.
It was unnerving, to say the least. He couldn't keep in the scream either.
He let out a pained scream, unknowingly attracting attention from someone in the shadows.
He couldn't get up.
At this point, he's bound to die of blood loss.
It was raining.
Cold water distracted him. He's felt this before. It was when he fought the Chimera ants with darts.
Blood pooled around his limp body. Pain overtaking his senses. He hated this feeling.
He's felt it thousands if not millions of times when he was at his house.
His older brothers and parents would hurt him repeatedly.
His little sister was safe with Gon. But what about Kalluto?
Killua's sure that Kalluto is feeling the same pain as he had with their family.
When- If, Killua survived and found his way back, he'll find Kalluto.
He'll save him as Killua saved Alluka.
As Gon saved Killua.
As the man that called the ambulance, and was tending to his wounds the best he can.
Wait, who?
Killua slowly opened his eyes to see a man with long black hair and a grey scarf hover over him.
He was trying to stop the bleeding.
"Who are-"
"Shhh," the man shushed. "I'm the Pro Hero Eraserhead."
Eraserhead?
"The ambulance are on the way, just hold on tight." The man, Eraserhead, said.
Then Killua asked him a question that shocked him.
"Why?"
