Writing for Demon!prince!sky and Shapeshifter!Butler!fi au

It had been a few weeks of dating, and since fi had unlocked that form. They spent their days still as skys advisor, but, it was more lighthearted- sleeping in the same chambers, soft kisses.. and words, and touch's... in general it was bliss, non-sexual bliss.

Fi wondered if it'd stay forever... They hoped so.

Mainly because, the lazy love filled look they got, melted their heart.

Such as the one sky had just given them soon as they woke up, in his bed.

"Good morning..." Sky smiled, tail lazily wrapping around Fi's waist.
And dragging them closer, impossibly so.

It was.... Yes, this was... bliss

Sky chuckled, a purr reverberating around the room. Brushing fallen hair out his beloveds- Fi's... face, oh.. their beautiful tired groggy face...

Sky could agree, this, morning... this moment... this was indeed bliss, bliss in this realm anyway.

Snuggling closer to the smaller shapeshifter, sky enjoyed the way fi wrapped their legs around his.

Interweaving their bodies more then the mess of arms, linking the couple together. Honestly, it was quite risky, at a moments notice... when or if a servant entered.. seeing the Royal advisor and prince in bed together... cuddling... well, it'd be disastrous

But, neither sky or fi could tear away from the others warmth.

It was addicting, in all honesty. The diffrence in social ranking wasn't even thought of in the blissfully peaceful moment..

Fi couldn't help but let out a small warble in reply, they were currently in a imp demon-based form. Making their stature smaller, and hieght decreased.

They often slept as an imp as to not take too much room up in the, mind you, KING sized bed.

Sky warbled back, tail winding more around their shorter body. He enjoyed all their forms.. but, the shorter ones were easy to cuddle, or atleast easier to hold.

Nuzzling their head in, sky sniffed Fi's hair- mindful of the big horns that curled downwards with the current shapeshifter's form. They always smelt of fresh rain after recently shifting... right now, they smelt of campfires... it was nice, but, also a sign that they no longer smelled or could be sensed of shapeshifting. A very important thing, in a hellish world where shapeshifters are the minority.

"Darling.." Fi muttered, giggling quietly and sleepily as they quickly shifted, removing their horns. And replacing them with a small pair of wings on their back, that had a leathery texture.

Sky couldn't help but giggle back, knowing their nuzzling and sniffing had made fi shift again- bringing back that fresh rain smell from the magic use. "Y-yes?" Sky chuckled out, leaning back a bit.

Fi just grinned, giving sky's chest a gentle smack, before the two dissolved into mutual giggles and bed tossing and turning- mainly to avoid being tickled or teased by the other.

"Wha-a-a-a-t?" Fi laughed out, as Sky tickled along their back, when they had tried crawling away.
Sky just pulled fi back to their chest, making the (still shorter) sit in his lap, and chest-to-chest.

The winged shifter relaxed easily, smiling up at the taller royal.

"Hi."

"Helllo."

The two smiled, before leaning up and pecking eachothers lips- sweet and soft, before laying back again- fi, of course, practically forced to lie on his chest comfortably.

No complaints were made despite the position, that mind you forced each of their demon features to be pressed and folded..

The two were still back in bliss- ready to even go back to sleep like that, happily!

When

.....

A knock was heard on the door, before, in skys opinion, A Royal bitch called out.

"Oh darrrrling~? Cmon, your going to miss your cousin's royal acknowledgment ceremony! He's finally going to be given status! Sweetie? Are you awake?"

It was skys aunt.

Someone, they didn't like, and someone fi could get killed easily by.

Sky frowned at his shapeshifter, his advisor, their lover... a small sigh leaving their lips.
Watching as fi quietly and quickly rushed to leave thru the window..

Quickly sitting up, sky went to answer the door, before sending a quick glance to make sure nothing fi-esc was there.

This.. was always going to be their life? Huh?
