Chapter 7

"So how have you been since your make out session with little becbec?" Engfa asked as she was sitting on the bean bag on Freen's dorm reading a magazine. It's saturday today so it's their rest day and sometimes they would hang out at each other's rooms or hang out at Charlotte's place. Engfa was feeling lazy today so here she is, bugging freen who's actually making a report for her council duties.

"I told you she doesn't remember it and i would like to keep it that way" Freen answered sticking her eyes on the screen of her laptop not even bothering to look at Engfa

"Why don't you tell her to actually see if you have a chance, She kissed you so that's telling something"

"I told Becca i like girls so i don't want to risk more just for her to avoid me" Freen said as she sighed and removed her glasses and turned her chair to look at Engfa. Engfa stopped flipping her magazine seemingly shocked with what just freen said so she sat properly so she can talk properly to her friend

"So? What did she say?" 

"She knew about me dating Heng so i told her the reason why i even did that and i asked her if she would be uncomfortable after knowing that fact" Freen continued "She's fine with it and i'm just glad she doesn't feel awkward with me so no, taking more risks would just make everything worse so i'll just be contented with what we have now"

"What if she suddenly remembers what happened?"

"Then i'll have to cross the bridge once we get there but for now let me finish the goddamn report that you're supposed to do but here i am doing it because you're so damn diligent with your responsibilities" Freen annoyingly said as she turned back to her laptop while Engfa just laughed with her response and continued with eyeing the magazine.

"i nearly forgot, a friend is looking for someone to model her product. I was thinking of referring you for it" Engfa said

"Why don't you do it?"

"They're looking for someone who has a long silky hair so i don't meet the requirements besides you don't have any gig next week right?"

Engfa and Freen does a lot of different gigs just to make ends meet since not like Becky and Charlotte, they don't have the privilege of having an allowance from their parents. Not to mention they are attending a well known school which they need to keep up with the expenses of being a student of it.

It is also the reason why they're famous, they sometimes come up on the magazines or collab with famous influencers. They have the choice of being an influencer too but with their scholarship and everything, they don't have the time nor the energy to be consistent with it.

"Do they pay well?"

"You negotiate with them, i'm referring you already so you do the negotiating part"

"Fine, just give them my number and tell them i'll wait for them to reach out"

Freen's phone suddenly rang so she gestured Engfa to stay quiet

[Hey Freen, do you have time to talk now?]

"Oh Richie! of course i'll always have time for you, what's up?"

"That's Rich?" Engfa said pointing to her phone and Freen nodded

"Hey Richiiiiiiiie!" Engfa shouted so her voice can be heard from the other line

Richie chuckled [Engfa is there too?]

"Yeah, being a lazy bum in my room. Wait i'll switch you to speakers" Freen said as she clicked the speaker icon and placed her phone on the table
