Feelings

Layla finally woke up and checked her phone to see that it was 10 am the next morning. She sat up and stretched, she also looked over at Tara. Tara was already awake and she looked over at Layla seeing that she was awake.

"Finally you're awake" Tara joked looking at Layla

Layla laughed at Tara's joke

"How are you doing T?" Layla sat in the chair next to Tara's hospital bed

"I feel a little better, everything still hurts though"  Tara looked at her body

"Well if it makes you feel better, I think it makes you more of a badass" Layla smiled

"It definitely does make me feel better, but I'm just in a lot of pain right now"

"I feel like this is kind of my fault also" Layla looked in Tara's eyes

"Layla, you couldn't have done anything to stop him and if you were there we would both be in hospital beds" Tara reassured Layla

"I know, but I just have this feeling of guilt deep down in my stomach" Layla looked down

"Listen, this isn't your fault. I know you feel like it is, but it isn't. Maybe you could've stopped him or maybe not, either way I just want you to be safe"

"T, I have to tell you something" Layla looked at Tara

"What is it?"

"I like you and I've liked you ever since I found out I liked girls, but I was too scared to tell you and I know I shouldn't have waited this long, but I did and I kind of-" Layla was cut off by Tara kissing her

Layla pulled away from the kiss

"You have no idea how long I have wanted to do that" Tara rested her head on Layla's shoulder

"Probably as long as I have waited" Layla smiled

Maybe that was the guilt that Layla was feeling in her stomach. After Layla told Tara how she felt the guilt she was having left completely.

"Wait, where did Sam and Richie go?" Layla lifted her head up looking around the room for the two

"I don't know, they were gone when I woke up" Tara looked up

Sam and Richie entered Tara's hospital room

"Well good morning" Layla gave them a smirk

"Nothing happened, Layla" Sam sat down in a chair

"I never said anything happened" Layla responded in which Tara laughed at her response

Deputy Judy Hicks entered the room with Amber following after her

"He called you on your phone?" Judy asked looking at Sam

"Yes. It was Amber's number" Sam looked over at Amber

"He must've cloned my phone when he stole it and pretended to be me." Amber defended herself

"Yea, that's exactly what happened" Layla mumbled to herself thinking nobody heard her

"What was that Layla?" Amber heard what she said

"All I'm saying is I honestly wouldn't be surprised if you were the killer or one of the killers" Layla looked at Amber

"And why the fuck would you think I'm the killer?" Amber crossed her arms

"Look, can we talk about this once the deputy is done questioning everyone?"

"Right after, don't forget" Amber was annoyed

"He could've done that or you did it" Richie looked at Amber
