The Sighting

January 21st

     I got off my plane feeling so excited to finally be back in California I'm texting my mom trying to find out where she is and there I see her my brother and stepdad. I had spent the last three weeks in Utah with my family but I had gone on independent study since I was missing two weeks of school after winter break ended. The trip was great and I'm glad I spent time with them but man was I ready to be home. Once again I have boy drama well not really but kinda, over winter break I texted a boy but he wasn't into me so I ended up thinking I like my default boy Taylor Starkey again. I hand ended up calling my best friend Chloe about it and I was very upset but then we agreed no more boys because they only ever hurt me and I just need to focus on friendships, school, and myself. I was so happy to finally be back with my family nothing was better than being home.

January 27th

I have been home for a week now and I went back to school Monday and surprisingly I wasn't into anyone as more than friends. There was a lot of friendship drama for me at the start of the school year so I had a little group of friends and I kept my distance from the rest of them. Right now I'm currently walking to my 6th period Biology class.
"Hey Harls how you doin?" Blake asked coming up to me putting an arm around my shoulders.

"I'm doing pretty good B its been a busy week back but I'm good" I replied to his question looking up at him seeing as Blake is 6'2 and I'm only 5'3.

"Sooo hows your boy situation going?" He said

"I'm not into anyone right now"

"Pfftttt Harley Blackwood not crushing on anyone impossible you switch to a new boy like every week" Blake told me not believing me

"Don't you fucking go there Blake you know how I feel when people say that cause it's not true" I told him very frustrated

"Sorry Harls I was just joking around but if you say you don't like anyone I believe you it's just a little shocking" he told me honestly

"Its all good B and I appreciate it. See ya later" I told him as we stopped at his class

"See ya Harls" and he removed his arm from my shoulders and walked to his class

I continued to the end of the hall where my bio class was and sat at my desk. The class was incredibly boring per usual so I was on my phone and all of a sudden I get an air drop and I accepted it. It was from Blaise Marko who sent me this:

I looked at him and flipped him off and went back to scrolling through instagram.

After 1 more period school was over and my stepdad had picked me up while my brother had baseball. When we got home my stepdad told me mom wanted me to come when we picked her up from work. Which was because I was started first tee tomorrow. First tee is tiger woods foundation thing that basically helps kids learn how to golf and how to improve in golf. Since my mom worked at a golf store and had a discount she would get me anything I needed last minute. Me and her were standing waiting to check out when I looked to the putting green area and that's when I saw him it took me a minute to figure out his name but then it just clicked Jaden Lithos I didn't know why I immediately knew who he was but I did I knew we went to the same school since 6th grade and that he was really good at golf but I didn't know how I knew those things and who he was it was confusing. Me and my mom left the store and met my brother and stepdad at the restaurant across the street and I texted my friend Logan Malo he knew everyone so I texted him:

Malo was no help but they know eachother so thats cool. I spent the rest of my night thinking about him and incredibly nervous for first tee the next day. Imagine he showed up there i know he wouldn't though he's way to good to go to those lessons i thought. But something about him just drew me in and I couldn't get him off my mind.
