It had been nearly a week since our 'friendly' neighbour scuffle and I had been dreading the day we meet again.
I've discovered Asian boy really meant what he said by "no promises" as the chaos has continued.
Honesty is the best policy I guess.D dawg had unofficially moved in and the sex only became louder and unfortunately more frequent,
Lorna might as well be having sex for the two of us.
The cherry on top of it all is the fact that he isn't even paying rent.
That dick must be real good then.I sat reading on my balcony, a book in my left hand and a cigarette in my right, attempting to block out the unwelcome noise,
The neighbours had kicked off again, they giggle, scream, gag and a plethora of other confusing noises,
Sometimes they'd go quiet for a heavenly minute but it's always too good to be true.I argue with the angel and the devil on my shoulder.
'Go give them a piece of your mind'
'But you don't want them to think that you're the fun police'
'Why do you even care?'
'Be a chill neighbour.'
'With Ian potentially living in there? No way.'
I briefly reminisce over all the times Ian had made fun of me, my interests and my appearance,
Many of the things he said back then admittedly still stick with me today, affecting the way I see myself.
Making an already incredibly insecure teenage girl more insecure should be a crime punishable by death.Maybe I'll get an apology out of him one day.
I've made my decision,
I am NOT gonna be a pushover.
Not this time.I rip an empty page clean out from the book in my hands, I put my cig out on the wall behind me and I head to grab a pen from the kitchen table,
I start frantically scribbling,
The note reads'SHUT THE FUCK UP!'
I sigh, feeling ever so guilty.
I jot one last adjustment onto the note,
'Pretty please with a cherry on top :)'
I admire the piece of paper as I head to slide it under their apartment door.
I kneel on the harsh carpet of the corridor as I slide the note under my unsuspecting victims door,
But to my dismay the door unlocks, I curse under my breath preparing myself for an awkward few minutes."Oh?" I hear a masculine voice speak,
I force myself too unwillingly look up at the source of the voice,
"Hi" I say, awkwardly smiling up at the figure,
It's the tall, annoyingly attractive Asian boy,
I allow relief to spread over me at the fact it's not Ian who opened the door, there is always a silver lining.
