I am unsure who the original artist is. If anyone knows I will give credit. ______________________________________________________ Y/n kept tossing and turning in bed. They were having a hard time falling asleep with the loud storm outside. Every time there was a crack of thunder you couldn't help but to jump in fright; as the sounds of thunder became more frequent you realized that you weren't going to be getting sleep anytime soon and decided to go make a tea in the dorm kitchen. It had to be close to 2am and everyone was should be sleeping so you snuck down as quietly as possible.
You quickly made your favorite tea in the dark and quiet common room,;the only light was from the flashes on lightning that appeared every minute or so. As you were walking back to your dorm you took a quick glance into the common area as lighting flashed through the windows. And then you froze in place. On the couch was Kaminari just staring off into space. You slowly walked over to him and lightly placed a hand on his should with a soft "hey" leaving your mouth. He whips his head in your direction, clearly startled after being lost in thought.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" you said. "Can I sit?"
He gave a small nod while tucking his face into his knees. A small blush seemed to grace his cheeks as the thunder rumbled and a streak of lightning flashed but you couldn't be sure since it was gone just as quick as it showed up. You gently placed your tea on the table and sat down next to him on the couch.
You were surprised. You have never seen Kaminari so quiet and it made you wonder if everything was okay. "Are you okay Kaminari? You seem different than you normally are in class"? you said. This caused him to blush more. *Y/n's noticed me in class. O//O I didn't think they would have even known I was there, let alone notice a difference in my personality? Maybe they notice me the way I notice them?* Kaminari thought. "I-I'm okay. I had too much on my mind so I couldn't sleep" he said as he turned his head to the side to avoid eye contact. "Do you want to talk about it?" you asked.
Kaminari let out a soft but deep sign and turned back to you and with shaky hands he grabbed both of your hands off your lap to hold in his own. "I am in love with you" he said. "I have been in love with you since I first saw you smile with Ochaco and Midoriya on the first day of classes. I understand if you don't feel the same way especially since I'm not one of the strongest or smartest in the class but I can't stop thinking about how I want to be the one who makes you smile and laugh. And if you give me the chance I'd lik-* You lean forward placing your hands on his knees and lean in to kiss his lips quickly cutting off his cute rambling. His eyes quickly widen as his face flushes but he quickly flutters his eyes closed and kisses you back. After a few seconds you both pull away for air. Before he could voice the concern you could see growing on his face you said "Denki, I love you too, I don't care if you aren't the strongest or smartest person in our class, you are still my #1 hero"
