Why'd You Work Yourself Up?

Cassie's POV

Christian and I laid in bed knowing we needed to be up to get everything for the party situated. "I think I stress myself out thinking about the kids getting older, and I make myself sick," I told Christian and held my hand against my stomach. I felt queasy and he looked at me.

I got up and went into the bathroom and started throwing up. Usually, after a few minutes, I stop throwing up but I couldn't help but continue. "Are you good in there babe?" Christian asked and I couldn't even answer him. He opened the door and sat with me. "Are you really this nervous about him turning one?"

I held my hand up trying to be able to give him a response. All I managed to get out was, "Go start breakfast." He nodded and then kissed the top of my head and then he left. At this point, there was nothing in my system, so I stopped throwing up. I sat there needing some energy after all that. I worked myself up thinking about how Cam was our last baby turning one.

I got up a few minutes later, and brushed my teeth and made myself look presentable. I went downstairs and Christian opened his arms as I walked into the kitchen. "You better now babe?" I nodded and he took a break from making food. He leaned down and kissed me for a few seconds before we heard some light laughs. "So why'd you work yourself up?"

"Because he's our last baby turning one."

"Well can I take you out tonight?" He asked me. "Will it make you feel better?"

"Depends, do we get to take the birthday boy?"

"Basketball game, we can sit in a suite, so we can take all our kids if you'd like."

"Okay, but only if the kids say yes." I wanted to stay home but I told Christian I would work on going out with him more.

"Mason, Noah, Bri, you guys wanna go to a basketball game tonight?" Christian asked the kids.

"Yes!" Both of the boys said excitedly. We looked at Bri and she shrugged.

"I'm going to be there baby, you can sit with me," I told her so she nodded. "Okay then we will go." Christian got excited. Usually we would invite Cam and Ricky but, with all of their friends, we wouldn't even fit into a suite so they will have to miss out on this one.

Christian's POV

"That cake is so cute Cassie," Cassie's mom told her about the smash cake she made for Cam. "You have so much talent kid."

"Thank you mom," She said and then got some more pictures of Cam eating. "Our kids are going to be pretty great," She told me and gave me a kiss really quick.

"I agree." She laughed a little and then got a napkin to clean his face. Cam was running up to Cas and she saw what he was trying to do.

"Cameron I swear you better not," She said and Ricky picked Cassie up and held her. Cameron put the baby's face in his cake and everyone laughed a little and then both of our parents were not happy with him.

I looked away because Cas was going to look at me, and I knew both of our parents were going to try and lecture him. He didn't do it hard so it was fine with me. 

The baby cried a little and then after a minute he started laughing. I laughed with him and then cleaned up his face. "You're the worst," Cas said to Cameron and hit him gently. "Your lucky you were gentle with him. You traumatized Mase and Noey when you did it to them."

"I'm sorry," He said and then picked Cameron up and he gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I am so sorry my little twin."

He took him and he went back to his friends and told everyone passed him around. Cas and my mom cut the cake. I offered to help but they didn't need me. After finishing handing stuff out, my cousin pulled Cas and I aside. She handed us an envelope and we opened it. "Yay! You finally picked a date and venue?" She nodded. "Quick question, are kids allowed? If not I am totally okay with that."

"Oh we definitely want all four of your kids there. We want Bri to be a flower girl, if you two are fine with that, and then maybe get one of the boys to be a ring bearer. And Greg and I wanted to wait to ask you two, but I am too impatient, so I am going to ask you now." Cas and I looked at each other and then back at my cousin. "We want you guys to be in the wedding."

"Oh my gosh! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes!" Cas said and they jumped up and down and hugged each other. "You just let me know whatever we need to get, and we are there!"

"Sounds good," She said and pulled both of us into a hug again.

"I am so excited to be in their wedding," Cas said and I nodded.

"I'm excited to see you in a sexy dress." She hit me as the kids looked back at us. I got Brielle as she wanted me to hold her as we made our way to our suite. "Bri, are you tired?" She nodded and wrapped her arms around my neck. I held her as we got situated in our suite. I had passes for us to go down to the court so I could see some friends, so I ended up taking Brielle with me.

She fell asleep as I talked to my friends, and everyone thought it was cute. After a while of talking, I went up to our suite and got Cas a beer. She made it clear that she wanted a drink, so I would be the sober driver.

Cassie's POV

When we got home, Christian and I got the kids showered and ready for bed and put them in their rooms. "Want to join?" Christian asked as he got the water going for a shower.

"If you have a beer with me before we go to bed." He stuck out his hand and I shook it. I got undressed and got in before he did. I let my hair get wet, and it was interrupted by Christian standing in front of the shower head. "Babe we're gonna have to switch places," I said and he laughed and we did. After I got my hair wet, we switched places again. I was facing a different direction and then felt Christian put his hands on my hips.

"Just slip it in please," He said and I didn't think it was too bad of an idea. His hands started moving around my body and I laughed and did as he said and he moaned and went back to my hips. "A quickie?"

"Sure," I said and let him do his thing. He had to cover my mouth, because I couldn't keep quiet. After we finished I looked back at him. "Shit you are the best," I said.

"I could say the same about you." He pecked my lips and then we continued showering. When we finished, I got into a tank top and sweats and Christian got into some shorts and a shirt. We went down together and looked at the selection of beers. "What do we want?" I asked Christian quietly. Everyone was downstairs watching a movie. He pointed to a can he wanted and then I grabbed one for the both of us. I grabbed a dessert for us to, and we started heading back upstairs.

"Your sister-in-law is hot," We heard one of the guys say and Christian and I looked back and laughed a little.

"We know," Cam and Ricky said and that caught me really off guard because they said that in front of Brooke. We went upstairs and called it a night after finishing our drinks.
