~Kinda forgot to put the time skip there. This whole shopping scene took place on the next day~

Pete's pov

We were waiting for our food when vegas out of nowhere asked me, "You're going to meet your friends next week, pete. So why don't you tell me about them a little? " i was a little shocked that he wanted to know about my friends but still started talking anyway."They're really nice, even thou i don't have a lot of friends. i got porsche, Pol, Arm and khun No." I said, smiling."That's nice. What about kinn?" Vegas questioned." khun kinn is my boss,vegas. How can he be my friend? But yes, he trusts me a lot and treats me really well, and he's really nice. " Vegas frowned a little, seeing me praise kinn. " No need to be jealous, khun vegas. He's already dating porsche, " i teased and laughed seeing him jealous. "That's good then. Otherwise, i would have locked you in my room so i can keep you to myself forever, and you can only be mine." Vegas said jokingly, i smiled nervously at his comment, remembering what he did to me. I became unusually quiet. " pete," vegas held my hand in his hands, "im sorry for whatever I've done in the past, but I'll change for you and i promise to give you a better future, my love" vegas kissed my hand which made me blush " thank you vegas im sure you won't break your promise " i said blushing hard. "Of course, i won't give you a chance to regret your decision," vegas said lovingly

vegas finally let go of my hand when our food arrived. We ate in silence. After we were done, we paid for our food and went home

We were about to enter the mansion when khun macau came running up to us "hia~ you left me home alone, i had to tell you something important" khun macau whined without paying any attention to me.

Vegas's pov

I was at the entrance of the manor with pete when macau came running up to me, saying he got something important to tell me. " i was out with pete, Mac. But im here now, so tell me, what is it that you want to tell me? " i asked macau softly," it's about doctor top. Khun is trying to steal him from me, hia, You know, i like dr top for a long time, and khun is clinging to him now cause he wants to steal him." Macau complained. "I'm sorry for interrupting, khun macau, but khun no has been obsessed with Dr. Top for a while now. I think you should talk things out with him, " pete told macau. " Why is he here, Hia? Tell him to mind his own business." "Mac, don't talk to him like that. He's my boyfriend. " Hearing me call him my boyfriend pete started blushing really hard. " Oh, so you're my brother in law, you'll help me plan against khun then right?, come on, let's go," just hearing me call pete my boyfriend macau got really excited and started dragging pete to his room. I let out a exhausted sigh "ah this kid" i said to myself then remembered "I have to tell macau not to get to attached to pete," i thought to myself as I walked toward my office.

I was busy working when i remembered what pete told me about that porsche guy who's dating kinn.

Author's pov

Vegas's was in his office when he remembered about porsche. His expressions changed into an evil smirk when an idea came into his mind. "nop, come in here," vegas yelled, nop entered his office in a hurry. " khun, you need something," he asked politely after bowing. " Yes. Nop, i want you to get me information about that porsche guy from the main family." Vegas ordered, "As you wish, khun, I'll get to it right away." Nop bowed once again and left the room.

"Let's see how much useful you're to me, porsche," vegas mumbled to himself, smirking

On the other hand, macau dragged pete to his own room. "Come on, sit here, p'pete, now we can plan against that khun. How dare he try to steal my dr top?" Macau pouted angrily," khun macau, im sure khun didn't know you liked Dr. top. " macau became sad hearing me,"so you're going to side with him too just because he's from the main family, " macau said, looking like he was about to cry "no khun macau im really sorry to make you feel like that. I would never do that, i know my place as a guard, and i can't make you feel inferior. " i trying comforting him, which kinda of worked cause he didn't look like he was about to cry anymore."Why would you say, p'pete? You are so nice. You should leave your job as a guard and come live with us. I promise it'll be fun, " macau yelled excitedly, making me laugh a little. "Im sure it'll be fun, khun macau, but i have friends back there, so i can't leave them and shift here" i told him politely " but if you're my brother in law then we're your family and family is more important than friends " pete started blushing hearing this. "You're right, khun macau. Family is more important than friends, but im still not Vegas's boyfriend, so i can't move in with you, and i love my job too." Pete tried explaining to macau, but it didn't work. "But hia already said You're his boyfriend and can you stop calling me khun? You can call me nong or mac if it's ok with you." Macau uttered the ending in a low tone as if he thought i was going to reject his personal. "Ok, nong, but you have to understand i can't move in with you right now, but im here if you want help getting Dr. Top back." I patted his head gently. "Ok, p'pete, let's plan something later then,I'm tired, phi. Let's play video games for now. We can plan something later. " I smiled wholeheartedly at his cuteness."ok nong macau, let's play."

Pete was playing with macau, not knowing the person he was slowly falling for was only a step away from betraying him

On the other side, vegas was sitting at his office when nop knocked politely at the door. " Come in." Vegas ordered. Nop entered the office and bowed. "I found his personal details,khun. It's not much but still something, and our people are still following him to know about his daily life, " nop reported in his professional tone. "Give me what you found and wait outside." Vegas ordered. "Yes,khun." Nop handed the file over and left the office.

Vegas opened the file to see a familiar face. "He was at the bar that day with pete." Vegas recognised the person quickly as he had quite a personality. "Um, let's hope he's not clingy and a crybaby like pete," vegas said, annoyed by the fact he had to be with a mere servant. Vegas read through the file, finding about the poor life porsche lived before joining the main family. "He lived a hard life, must be hungry for money. Let's see how will i use you ,porsche." Vegas's smirked evilly. After thinking about his plan for a while, vegas remembered that pete was still with macau. "i should go to macau now." Vegas mumbled to himself

Vegas closed the file and left his office, nop was still standing outside like he ordered. "nop, get me his daily routine by the end of this week," vegas ordered and walked away

Vegas's pov

I was outside macau's room when i heard voices from the inside. I was curious about what they were talking about, so i decided to eavesdrop on their conversation. "And that's how i joined medical school for Dr. Top, " macau said. "That's really cute, and after all, it's your hard work. That got you in. " it was pete's voice. I was about to interrupt their conversation when macau started again. "P'pete, can i ask you something?" Macau questioned, "of course, nong. Ask anything you want to know." Pete said really softly, which made me smile, thinking how he was being nice to macau even though Mac can be super annoying sometimes. "Do you really love Hia?" I was really shocked to hear macau's question. My brain stopped working for a second, and i guessed it was the same for pete as there was no reply from him. Finally, after a few moments, pete broke the silence, "Yes, nong, i do love your hia. Even though he's not exactly a good person and did a lot of bad stuff, even to me, but yes, im falling for him " Hearing pete's answers made my heart started beating and feel weird in my stomach. I still somehow convinced myself it was nothing and finally knocked on the door. "Come in," macau said, i entered his room to find a blushing pete and an evil looking little monster." What are you guys doing? And why are you making my pete blush, Mac? Are you teasing him?" Pete was blushing even harder now, hearing me call him mine. He buried his face in his hands. I was about to kiss pete's hand when macau interrupted with his fake ass cough. "Please not in front of my face when im basically going through my divorce era." He wiped his non existing tears. "You were not even in a relationship, mac," i said, hitting his head lightly. " i was always his boyfriend in my heart, and that's what really matters. Anyways im going to play video games now so you both should find a room now." Macau teased us." nong macau, we're not gonna do anything like that. " pete got really flustered. "Hehe, as if i believe you." Macau teased again." You'll believe me when I'll sit here with you until you finish your homework before playing video games." This time, vegas said, making macau pout."That's not fair."

Vegas, for the first time, was laughing and enjoying freely, but this feeling of finally belongings somewhere, finding a home was not for long as he still had to continue with his plans.
