You still went Away

"I'll always be here"they say,
just to make me feel okay.
They think I don't know
They all drift away,
Nothing and no one stays.

"You'll be alright."they say,
Will I ever be
If nothing and no one stays?

You probably have better to do
than staying around like a fool,
I know you do
don't deny the truth.

My shadows,my heart tell me to wait,
"Don't listen to them!"my brain exclaims.
I don't listen,I never do,
Now I ask myself,"who are you?"

"I'll never leave." you say,
"Liar." I mutter in my brain.
I finally know,no one stays.
Even feelings go away,
you can't expect a person to stay.
