The next morning when I got to class a lot of people where surprised and happy... to see me? Okay, it's not like I was big and well known in class I only always chilled with thre of my friends but I guess me passing out in front of the class and not coming to school the next day got them a bit worried, I was glad to see they cared about.

I got home after school and as I opened the door I found my mom sitting by the table with two men in police uniforms across from her.

"Can we have a word with you young men," the blond middle aged man said to me.

He is the only man I know there his name is Derek and he lived a couple of blocks from here, a good friend to my family and the community as well, I really liked him. The other police officer I had not seen him before, also middle aged with black hair.

"Honey they wanna talk to you about what happened at the hospital."

"Sure," I tossed my school bag on the couch and made my way to the table and sat besides my mother.

"Do you know what happened that night at the hospital Sky?" Derek asked me .

I told them I had absolutely no idea what happened there I didn't even hear anything I was sound asleep. I told them I was also shocked and scared to the horrific thing I saw when I woke up.

"Are you sure that's what happened?"

"Quite odd for something like this to happen the same night you get addmitted to the hospital don't you think?"

He pissed me off, I mean what the fuck? I sat there in silence with an earnest face trying to see what he's thinking, although it was quite obvious what he was thinking.

My mom wasn't as calm I was though, she freaked out slamming both her hands on the table pushing the chair backwards as she stood in frustration "what are you trying to accuse my son something?" Her voice deepened with anger.

I tried cooling her down by holding her.

"Sorry Mrs. Maria that came out wrong we're not accusing your son of anything we're just doing our jobs by questioning every person who was at the hospital that night," Derek said trying to calm my mom down.

"Get out," she said with anger.

The other officer showed no remorse at all for the words he just uttered.

My mom later at night told me that apparently the people who were killed it wasn't anything like the ordinary deaths we know off, it is not quite clear yet but from what the police officers told her the wounds of the victims were like they were devoured by an animal, it was messy like guts spilled out type of messy.

But it didn't make sense... we lived in the middle of town there were no wild animals there, unless one we didn't know off escaped from the zoo and made isn't way to the hospital...

But that was not the case.
