"It's not like it was before. It's grown." Hopper was talking about something he'd been shown in Hawkins lab while he was there, something like a gate. River still wasn't entirely sure what was happening, he just wanted to go home and sleep.

"I mean that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs."

"Demo-dogs." Dustin spoke up turning towards the man.

"i'm sorry what?"

"I said, uh, Demo-dogs. Like Demogoron and dogs, you put them together it sounds pretty badass-"

"How is this important right now?"

"It's not. i'm sorry." Dustin turned away slightly embarrassed, moving across the room out of everyone's eye-line to stand next to River.

"I can do it." Eleven broke the silence that filled the room.

"You're not hearing me."

"I'm hearing you. I can do it."

"Even if El can do it, there's still another problem. If the brain dies the body dies." Mike started.

"I thought that was the whole point." Max questioned.

"it is," Mike nodded, "But if we're really right about this... I mean if El closes the gate and kills the mind flayer's army..."

"Will's apart of that army." Lucas realised.

"Closing the gate will kill him."

Joyce suddenly got up walking out the room towards Will's room, everyone following behind her confused, "He likes it cold."

"What?"

"It's what Will kept saying to me." Joyce explained, "He likes it cold." She walked over to the open window pulling it closed, "We keep giving it what it wants."

"If this is a virus, and Will's the host, then..." Nancy started looking down at the youngest Byers.

"Then we need to make the host uninhabitable." Jonathan finished.

"So if he likes it cold..."

"We need to burn it out of him."

"We have to do it somewhere he doesn't know this time." Mike spoke up.

"Yeah," Dustin nodded, "Somewhere far away."

Dustin entered the Byers living room looking for one person in particular. Hopper and El had left for Hawkins Lab and Nancy, Jonathan and Joyce were taking Will to Hopper's cabin so that left the others to sit around and wait.

His eyes lit up when he spotted River sat at the table staring at his hands. He rushed forwards pulling the boy to his feet, "I need your help," He pulled the boy towards the kitchen yelling at Steve to follow them.

He opened the fridge door pulling all the food and shelving out handing them to River who stood awkwardly trying not to drop anything until Steve finally intervened telling River to just place the items on the floor.

"All right." Dustin smiled turning around to face the two, "It should fit now."

Steve sighed from where he was stood besides the Hargrove boy holding the Demo-dog that had flew through the window, "Is this really necessary?"

"Yes it is, okay?" The younger boy nodded, "This is a ground-breaking scientific discovery. We can't just bury it like some common mammal, okay? It's not a dog."

"All right. All right." Steve moved forwards, "But your explaining this to Mrs Byers, all right?"

Steve attempted to shove the Demo-dog straight into the fridge but it wasn't as easy as he thought it would be, "Would you two help me out here."
