Chapter - 7

Y/N P.O.V

Y/N: "Thank you for the breakfast. I'll get going now" I bid my goodbye to Ahjumma exiting the house.

Outside there is a driver waiting for me to drop me off at university.

He started the car as soon as I got in. I sighed to myself looking at the vacant place beside me. Usually, it would be filled by someone called as my husband but from the last two days it's been unoccupied.

Two days ago, Jungkook went to what is called as a mission or something concerning his mafia stuff. I don't know why but from the day he left, a feeling of longing began in some corner of my heart. Before leaving he said that it is some sort of important mission so he can't exactly tell when he will return.

He argued to bring bodyguards with me whenever I set out of the house for my safety as Jimin and Kate too went along with him. But I rejected as it is so irritating having someone watching over me all the time. He gave in to my stubbornness but I know his men still keeps a watch over me from a distance. I decided to let it go as they are not invading my personal space and it will only make it worse if I push his buttons too hard.

As we reached the university, I got out of the car and walked in after thanking the driver.

Nothing out of usual happened and soon it's the last class of the day.

Professor: "I hope you all are well aware of the fact that today is the last date for completing your assignments. I am looking forward for all your presentations. That's it for today" he announced and walked out.

About the assignment me and Alex worked very hard in completing it. We almost went through half of the library. I pushed myself too hard as this time I have a partner who is the person I admire. I didn't want him to regret his decision of pairing with me.

I started packing my stuff when I heard a familiar voice.

Alex: "Y/n?"

Y/N: "Oh Alex, hey!"

Alex: "Umm, I was wondering if you wanted to review our assignment for tomorrow's presentation"

Y/N: "For sure! But I don't think library will be a good place to discuss things over"

Alex: "How about the nearby café?"

Y/N: "Sounds good! Let's go"

The café is a ten-minute walk from the university so we walked all the way reviewing the important topics to discuss.

Entering in we went straight to the counter and ordered a chocolate desert for me as coffee is not my thing and an Ice Americano for him.

While waiting for our order we searched for a table which is probably far away from everyone as we have things to discuss and didn't want to disturb anyone.

Arranging all the essential things on the table we started our preparation. I munched on my chocolate dessert while he expressed his ideas and his sipped on his Iced Americano while I voiced mine.

It took quite a while than expected as we discussed on the amount of time required for every part and the topics he is in charge of and the topics I am in charge of and stuff.

I enjoyed the whole process. He is so funny and friendly like it didn't seem as a preparation but some chit-chatting.

Y/N: "We are so ready for tomorrow's presentation" I squealed in excitement.

Alex: "Yeah, let's get's this bread. Fighting"

Y/N: "Fighting!"

Y/N: "It's already late. I'll get going then" I started packing my stuff.
