You think life would change when you hit adult era, it doesn't..... It didn't for Salem. Salem deals with a thing called Trauma, all thanks to her childhood, her traumatic childhood where she dealt with constant abuse until she was fifteen years old.
You think it would stop there, it didn't.
When she was seventeen, she got into a relationship with a eighteen year old, which later turned abusive but this time, she wasn't going to allow the abuser to win. She escape, left the state of Georgia and went to California after she graduated High School.
Then she graduated at the top of her class, went on to be a firefighter at the 118.
Salem also started going to therapy, for the longest time stay to herself, that was until the West sisters moved to the city, Addison joined the fire department while Elise got a job with Dispatch. She and Hen helped Salem opened up, then Salem became more talkative and friendly to everyone.
Then Salem opened up about her past to those she was closest to, Then Buck told her about his struggles and they became tight.

Buck opened the door to her apartment, then he and Addison looked at Salem. "You haven't decorated?" Addison asked her. "I'm in decisive." Salem said. "Not for long." Addison said. "What the..." Salem responded. "We're going to decorated your apartment... make it more alive in here." Addison said. "Yeah what's Buckwheat doing here?" Salem questioned as she looked at Buck. "I know you seriously didn't call me that?" Buck questioned his best friend. "I did, what are you going to do bro?" Salem said as she rose a brow at her best friend.
"Well He's Helping bring this place alive." Addison replied. "It is, I live in it." Salem said. "You know what I mean." Addison said sternly. Salem hummed.
After four hours, of decorating and getting things for her apartment, it was done.
Salem looked around her apartment, she was amazed. "What do you think?" Addison asked. Salem then looked at Buck and Addison. "I love it, to be fair, it's so me... feels more alive." Salem said. Addison chuckled. "How's therapy been doing, I know I ask everyday, has it been going well?" Buck asked.
"Yeah... it has. But my therapist thinks I need to get out more." Salem said. "Meaning with dating." She added. Buck and Addison looked at each other. "You all know that one relationship, but maybe she's right... but the right guy hasn't came around." Salem said. "He will besides you deserve the world."Buck said to her. "He's right, but don't push it besides I think you'll know when the right guy steps in your life." Addison adds.

She has four siblings, Two brothers and two sisters, She's the middle child.
She has been given the nickname of Georgia Peach after people learned she's from Georgia.
Salem despite remain in no contact with her parents, she keeps in contact with her siblings, especially her baby sister.
She's closet with Hen, Chim and Buck. Also with Bobby and The West Sisters.
She met Athena during a call, since then Athena has been looking out for Salem after learning about her traumatic past
Salem loves Chinese food, Sushi and Chicken.
