"Oh come on Jack this will be fun!" Jenny begged me to join her tonight, but I didn't want to. My class was early tomorrow, and I didn't want to risk staying out too late at a rave she was hosting. I rolled my eyes at her again and stood strong with my answer.

"Jen, I don't think I should go I have class." She scoffed and crossed her arms.

"I have class- Fine ok. But if you change your mind~" She dragged out the word mind. "It's just going to be in the woods, there is a cave that's like a ten minute walk from the edge of the forest dead straight." I dropped her off at her dorm and she lingered in the doorframe. "You should let loose. I bet you're fun at parties." She winked and closed the door, now instead of being face to face with the brunette I was staring at a green witch saying trick or treat. Looking at my watch I saw it was 5 pm and headed back to my dorm, it's not that I don't want to go. I just can't miss the class or be too hungover to pay attention. Flipping my phone open I saw a text from Jen even after just dropping her off.

'c u l8r? ;)'

'no :/' I texted back and went to my roommates number asking him if he knew about the rave or if he was going. He didn't know anything about it, figures, and he wasn't going. Also figures. "OH- Sorry, sorry I didn't see you." As I was walking I bumped into someone, they were walking back towards Jen's room, and reached for the room across from hers.

"No, it's okay! I was in a rush anyway." They made a confused face and shook their head "I meant, I was walking quickly so I also didn't see you. ha ha." They quickly opened their door and went inside before I could respond. I took the stairs down and continued back into my room.

"Jack how was the date with Jenny?" Greg sat up in his bed and took his headphones off putting the magazine down that was covered in women.

"It wasn't a date." I closed the door and took off my jacket. "She's just cool to talk to." I threw the jacket on my desk chair and pulled the chair out to sit and take my shoes off. "Freaky but in the cool way."

"Wa ho, Jack getting busy I see?"

"No not like that you perv. Like, into freaky shit. Like ghosts, ghouls, and goblins. She said the book they're currently reading is about some old freaky cult and and they're gonna 'sacrifice tonight'."

"That's the rave?" Greg's tone shifted,

"Not a literal sacrifice obviously. That's extreme. She said it's gonna be the sacrifice of their innocence? I'm assuming it's gonna be just a rager. Where a bunch of nerds get drunk and high for the first time."

"And you're not going why? Dude. That's an easy score." He put his headphones back on.

"Gross dude." I started changing into my sleep clothes. "I got class tomorrow I'm not going to class hungover. What's so wrong with that?" I say back in the chair and started working on the lab we were assigned.

"And you have the audacity to call them nerds. At least there having a party probably getting their dicks wet and not stuck in a shitty dorm working on their homework." I groaned if it would get Greg off my ass, yeah I'll go.

"Fine I'll go. But you're going too." I stood up, screw it. It's senior year of college what could possibly go wrong.

"You're wearing that to the party?" He pointed at my shirt and pants. The pants I'll change anyway but my shirt?

"What's wrong with the shirt?" I pulled the bottom out to look at it.

"Dude. It's got Lord of the Rings on it." I like Lord of the Rings though. I sighed and changed into a plain grey shirt and did a little turn. "Better." The two of us got ready to go, I sent a text to Jen saying I changed my mind and immediately got a response.
