A new feeling

Another week passed and eda and Raine were acting different, eda more than Raine. She was day dreaming, always smiling. "I don't know buddy, we haven't known each other that long" eda says talking to owlbert. He response is a few hoots. "I.. I mean yeah.. I like them.. But their so cool, I'm just some Lame princess" eda says as owlbert flies on her lap. "Oh come on.. Don't give me that look, il tell them.. Someday" eda says blushing looking at her door, where Raine is standing outside of. "Okay, I should go.. " eda still didn't like her classes, but shed take any chance to be around Raine. As she walked out her room, Raine greeted her. "Morning calamity, have a good talk with owlbert?" Raine asked, which had eda completely nervous. "You uh.. H-heard me?" She asked. "Well, no..but you talk to him every morning" raine said with a smile. "It's my job to know all your habits, your preferences, and your daily activities.. And right now I need to take you to your morning classes, that you don't pay attention in" Raine said as a way to tease her. "Okay okay jeez.. Eda said Ina giggle that made Raine blush slightly. Raine took her to her classes, and her teacher immediately noticed her behavior. She was usually looking at the door,smiling.she now didn't even try to pay attention, and the paper she bad she doodled hearts with hers and Raine initles in them. " my my, your Highness.. Your head is in the clouds today " eda averted her gaze from the door and to her teacher. "I.. Guess so" she mumbled. "You and your guard have gotten closer? Yes?" She asked. Which made eda turn a light pink hue. "O-oh!.. Did.. They say that?.." Eda asked with A nervous smile. "Hmm.. Maybe, what about you" her teacher asked. "We're uh.. Just friends.. " eda said looking back at them. "Uh huh.. Alright, please try and pay attention princess" eda did try her best but her attention stayed on Raine untill she left. When she did leave she and lilith had to go to a Royal meeting with their parents, leaving Darius and Raine alone. "So.. Eda?" Darius asked making Raine blush. "W-what about her" Raine asked "your clearly into her" Darius said pointing out the obvious. "Well.. Um.. I.. Find her attractive.. " Raine said with a smile, not daring to look at Darius knowing they were smirking at them. "Raine she's a princess, thousands of people find her attractive, are you ATTRACTED to her?" Darius asked, making Raine go a brighter redder. "Well uh.. I.. Am I that obvious?" Raine asked. "To everyone but eda" Darius answered. "She's just.. There's something about her, she's so.. Amazing" Raine said as they started thinking of her. "Mhm... " Darius said clearly uninterested in what Raine had to say about her. "I mean, she's funny, and sweet. And so chaotic..but in a.. Attractive way, and oh my god Darius she's stunning" Raine gushed as they thought of her more. "Ugh..you should just tell her that" Darius groaned. "No! She's supposed to be with. Someone with Royal blood" Raine said. "Bro.. Those rules were abloshished years ago" Darius said which surprised Raine. "Really!? I mean uh.. T-thats fine" Raine said trying not to show their excitement. Then the Royal Steward came in. "The Royal Family has returned, you may resume your list with your assigned princess"  Raine and Darius went to the main door of the castle and saw eda and lilith talking. "I really think you should tell them, I mean it's not that hard just say 3 words, maybe a few more give or take" lilith said as she was reading a book. "It's not that easy! You wouldn't get it.." Eda said crossing her arms. "Hmm.. Maybe not but I see the way the stare at you, its slightly concerning at times but hey, just don't let father see it" just as lilith said that Dell came over. "What about me? Is there something you need to ask me?" Dell asked with a smile. Then Raine got over to eda just in time. "Yes sir there is, I was wondering if you'd let me teach my princess a few skills in slef defense and combat" eda blushed when she heard Raine address her as theirs, but her fathers eyes lit up. "Of course! Gotta keep my little girls independent!"  Eda glared at her father while lilith walked away giggling. And of course Darius was now behind her.  Raine took eda to an archery range inside the castle walls, but weren't aware Dell and Gwen were watching. "Okay eda, just pull back carefully" Raine instructed. As she followed those instructions, Raine came up behind her and moved her slight to right so she could get a better angle.  Eda shot the arrow, and it didn't hit the exact spot but it was pretty close. "Thats amazing calamity, but maybe stop looking back at me" Raine teased, which again had eda blushing. "It's so wonderful edalyn found someone that makes her happy" Gwendolyn said looking down watching them. "What? What are you talking about, their just friends and I'm pretty sure edalyn is only Into girls" Dell said while his wife rolled her eyes. "Dell, edalyn is bisexual" the kings eyes widen, and then saw the way Raine was holding her. He then grabbed a mega phone and turned it on and took a deep breath. "GET.YOUR HANDS. OFF. MY DAUGHTER!!"   Eda is completely embarrassed, while Raine starts laughing. "Sorry rainestorm, he's.. Protective"  Ed said with a nervous smile. Eda again got ready to shoot. Then got an idea. "Rainestorm.. Duck!" Raine ducked down and eda shot an arrow, and hit her fathers mega phone. "No! Whyy!" Dell complained. "Eda are you crazy!?"  Raine asks. "Yep! Come on!" Eda says grabbing their hand and running off.  She and Raine ran out of the castle walls laughing and giggling. "Edaaa!" Raine said playfully. Eda takes them to the same open field they go to very often, then sits down. "He can't find us here, well be safe" eda joked. Raine then sits next to her. "So what's on your mind?" They ask her. "How'd you know?" Eda asks with a smile. "I just know" Raine says then winking at her, which causing eda to go red.   "Well uh... Let's say.. I like someone..but I'm afraid to you" eda says hoping they catch on. "I say you go for it- did you say me?" Raine asked. Eda just nods. "Eda that's sweet! I like you to! Were best friends after all!"  Eda is speechless.. But tries again. "No Raine.. More than a friend" eda says softly. "What do you mean?" Raine asked. Eda sighs, then gets a bolt of courage. She leans over to Raine, and kisses them, staying like that for a few moments. Then pulls back wondering if she made the right choice.   "Do you get it?" Eda asked. "Eda.. I.. Yes.. Yes! I love you to!" Raine says wrapping her arms around her. The two are completely blushing and happy, to where Raine puts her on there their lap. "R-raine..I.. " eda studderes. They decide to take advantage of this moment and start kissing her, which they both relax into. Then, they hear "wowww, already intemit? " Lilith asks eda jumps, and Raine and eda see Lilith and Darius. "I.. Uh.. This isn't what it looks like!" Eda says. "Mhm.. Looks like you two are making out" Darius says. Eda and raine were completely embarrassed, "lily.. Please do t say anything.. I don't know how dad will react" eda asked. "Your secret is safe with me.. Just the not to be to obvious"  Lilith said with a smile.
