Getting a pet

(Yn's pov)

I was walking around, I had some money on me but I already spent half of it on food. "Darn I'm almost broke, I might have to get a job but who would want to hire a girl like me?" I didn't look at my surroundings and felt a chill down my spine. I turned around to see Meliodas walking towards me, "you okay yn, Tristan's been looking for you." I smiled at him and saw some foxes.

"Meliodas, why are there foxes?"

"Huh?" Meliodas looked and saw foxes, "they aren't vicious or anything, they're just little foxes." I ran towards the foxes, "they're so cute!" Meliodas walked towards me, "well it is almost Tristan's birthday." I blinked, "can we get one?" Meliodas nodded, "of course." Me and Meliodas got the fox and headed to the castle. We walked inside and saw Elizabeth.

"Did you get a fox?"

Me and Meliodas nodded. "Good, Tristan will be here soon," said Elizabeth. "Where is Tristan anyway?," I asked. Elizabeth smiled, "he's with King and Oslo." I smiled, oh okay." Everyone hid out of sight and waited for Tristan to come home. A few minutes went by and Tristan walked inside the castle doors. Everyone popped up and yelled, "surprise!" Tristan looked at everyone without saying a word and locked his eyes on me. "H-Hey T-Tristan, are you okay?" Tristan stayed quiet and continued to lock eyes with me. He walked towards me and put his hand on my cheek, "I love you." I blushed brightly, "I-I love you too!"

"Your the only thing I wanted for my birthday"

"I get you a fox." I covered my mouth while looking at him. Tristan stared at me, "y-you got me a fox for my birthday?" I get scared, "a-are you mad?" Tristan laughed, "I'm not mad, I'm surprised is all!" I tilted my head, "you're surprised that I got you a fox?" Tristan nodded his head and hugged me, "thank you so much yn, and I love you so much, this was the best birthday ever." I started to cry on his shoulder, "I love you too!" A few minutes went past and everyone started eating cake.

(Tristan's pov)

When we were eating cake I saw yn walking outside. I walked towards her and smiled at her, "you okay?" Yn nodded, "y-yeah, I'm fine, just tired is all." I smiled at her, "I know."

"A-And happy birthday Tristan"

I chucked, "thanks." Ban, Elaine and Lancelot walked into the castle. "Sorry we're late everyone," said Elaine. I smiled, "isn't okay." Lancelot and Tristan looked at each other.

"Sup dude, happy birthday," said Lancelot as he was eating cake. I felt a kiss on my cheek and realized that it was yn. My aunts showed up, "Happy birthday Tristan!" I smiled at them, "thanks Aunties." Yn tilted her head, "where's your wolf?"

"He's sleeping."

"Oh okay."

An hour went by and the party was over. I went to my room and laid down on my bed with my back facing the door. I heard a knock on my door and turned my body around.

"Tristan what's wrong?"

"Go eat some cake, yn. I don't want you to be left out." I said in a sad tone. "I love you, you know that, right?" Tristan nodded, "yeah." Yn continued, "and I would do anything to help you be happy, right?" I nodded again, "of course."
