(Meliodas's Pov)
(Tristan is a teen in this chapter)
I was standing in front of a huge picture of my wife's father in the hallway when all of a sudden I heard a loud bang coming from the kitchen. I ran towards the kitchen and saw Merlin and Arthur laughing while having frosting on their faces. "I think I did too much on the frosting," said Arthur while smiling. Merlin used her finger to wipe the frosting off Arthur's nose and licked it, "yummy." I walked towards them, "come on guys, Tristan is going to be king today!" Merlin smiled, "sorry Captain...". I sighed, "it's okay." I heard footsteps and saw yn in her pj's, "good morning, Yn." Yn yawned, "good morning your majesty." I looked at yn, "yn, can you distract Tristan from a whole day." Yn looked at him and blinked, "birthday?" I nodded and repeated her, "birthday." Yn agreed and walked towards Tristan's room.
(Tristan's pov)
I woke up and yawned when I heard the door open. I saw you smiling at me, "good morning my prince." I rubbed my eyes and yawned again, "good morning my princess, what day is it?"
"Why, it's just a normal day."
"Oh..."
Yn nodded and I looked at the calendar, "okay, I guess it's just a normal day." Yn smiled, "and you will also be king today!" I sighed, "right... that too...". Yn tilted her head, "what's wrong, Tristan?" I smiled a little, "oh nothing, it feels like we've known each other forever." Yn blinked, "we have, remember, your dad took me in." I felt embarrassed, "r-right... heh, I forgot... m-my bad." Yn patted my head, "it's okay." I walked out of my room and went into the kitchen where I saw my pet fox and my parents. Meliodas was reading the newspaper, my mom was making dinner and Sin was eating his food, he's a good boy and a good fox. I take him everywhere with me, but whenever I do that, my father just scolds me until I cry. Sin walked toward me and smiled while wagging his tail. I knelt down and patted Sin on the head, "good dog." Sin kept wagging his tail and jumping up and down. Meliodas walked toward me and looked into my eyes, "Tristan." I turned my head, "yes father?" Meliodas cleared his throat, "are you ready to become a grown man like your father?" I rolled my eyes, "sure...".
