Asher rolls his eyes and then turns back to me. "One more." He leans back in and kisses me for a second, biting my lip and then pulling away. He leans his forehead against mine and breathes deeply.
"I don't think I can fucking contain myself tonigh...

Tangled is playing currently on Joey's huge screen as I lay on her bed. My head's on her lap, I'm trying to forget the details of today, but it's a little hard, considering everything about today made me want to die. Everything from the fight to Asher being insufferable.
Asher. Fucking Asher.
It'd be easier maybe to hate him if he wasn't so pretty. He's so tall, his hair such a dark brown, messy and wavy. And his eyes, have mercy, they're a deep amber with golden flakes in them. Little freckles on the bridge of his nose, a crooked grin, and dimples. Beautiful. Like he's been made perfectly by a woman.
But irritating.
And he's going to single-handedly tear down every wall I've spent years building up.
Wyatt is lying on the floor staring up at the ceiling, he's been trying to convince me that the incident that happened after school wasn't my fault, but I'm fully confident it is.
"You shouldn't have to do that for me. You shouldn't have to step in every time I make a mess." I say to Wyatt. He sits up angrily.
"Allie, it's not your "mess". You didn't cause any of this, Jones did and you know it." He looks me in the eyes with frustrated, yet sympathetic, eyes. "Even if it was, which it wasn't, I would've taken your side no matter what."
I look up at the ceiling. It all happened because of my anger. It was my fault. I'm just like my dad.
Joey strokes my hair softly, calming me a little even though my heart is beating pretty fast right now. I hear stomping and I turn my head to see Brady running into her room. "I'm here, I'm here! Sorry, tryouts ran late, what's up," he plops down on the bean bag in the corner.
"Tell her the fight wasn't her fault, Brady," Joey says calmly.
"What? Why would you even-"
"Can we just, not talk about it please?" I sit up, breathing deeply. He looks at me for a moment, worry in his eyes before he nods and says a soft "okay".
"Hey, how's Allie?" Austin walks through the door. I can't take this anymore.
"I'm fine. How's Lizzy?" I ask him as he sits next to me on the bed.
"Fine, I dropped her off at a friend's house. I'll pick her up on the way home." He squeezes my hand, smiling a very rare soft smile.
"No, you shouldn't have done that. Everyone's here checking on me, I'm fine. This is just, wasting everyone's time," I say, rubbing my temples.
"No, we're not here to check up on you, we're here to watch our favorite Disney movie," Austin smiles as he gets comfortable and wraps his arm around me.
I chuckle and lay my head on him. "You don't even like Disney movies." I laugh.
